I am a 28 years old female, and I think that it is nice that women have the right to decide about having or not abortion, in my opinion, I think that in this society women have the biggest part in the education of the kids, for women are mostly the ones that stay with the kids after a divorce or a breakup, women are the ones who have more health problems after and during a pregnancy,we are the ones who stay up late if the baby cry or is sick, even when there are extremely good fathers out there, the bigger amount of work is from the woman part. So I am in favor of the abortion, because I also think that no one should bring an unwanted child to this world. But sometimes I think that the law makes a father pays for child support even if he doesn't want the baby, but at the time of decide about having a baby or not, fathers get completed excluded from it. What do you think?

I’m completely in favour of women having the right to abortion. Only thing that worries me is the health impact so I guess with so many helpful pills available nowadays, prevention is better than cure LOL… so ideally for me, all women should have access to medication that empowers them to decide if and when they want a pregnancy. Leaving everything aside (like bringing up a child, child support, caring for kids etc etc) my basic argument is that nature has given man the power to sow his seeds anywhere he likes and then just walk off…it has happened for centuries and we women have borne the brunt of it and have always had a raw deal at the hands of society for an action in which both were equally responsible! So why cant women too have the freedom to walk away unscathed from that action? Prevention of pregnancy is my first choice…abortion the next best option available.

I totally I agree, we, woman should have the right to terminate a pregnancy if we decide to do it, obviously abortion should not be used as a birth control, everything should be done in order to prevent a pregnancy, but mistakes happen, and as I said before the consequences for those children that comes to the world in those circumstances are devastating. They have to deal with the rejection of their own parents and in many cases society.

I am also in favor of abortion. It is a very different world today than the past. There should always be freedom in everything nowadays. That includes abortion topics. I think women should be the ones to decide if they want abortion or not. People should not pressure them into doing something they don't want. If they choose abortion, people should not condemn them etc. Why let the baby live to just suffer maybe in the form of poverty or unloving parents, whatever the reason for not wanting to have a baby?

I believe that life begins at conception. I think abortion is wrong because it is killing an innocent little baby. Often the lady gets depressed years after her abortion. Abortion might be the worse decision a lady can make. She can never turn the clock back. It she regrets it than it could be hurtful to her mental state. In early pregnancy a lady can feel overly emotional due to hormonal changes. She might not be able to make the right decisions if she is very upset that she is pregnant. Aborted babies are the missing people of the world. I know a lady that is currently twenty two weeks pregnant. Two weeks ago she found out her baby has severe heart problems. She is thinking about having an abortion so he doesn't have to suffer. She says she loves her baby boy and it is an agonizing decision for her. I know that the mother has to be around 24 hours 7 days a week to care for her baby or child. Young babies wake in the night to have a drink and get a nappy change. The father might do some things to help or be useless. There are some extremely good fathers out there. I am a parent and a primary school teacher. In my home country abortion is allowed up to 24 weeks pregnancy. When I found out my baby has spina bifida and hydrocephalus at 36 weeks pregnancy I was offered an abortion. I said no way. It was my decision and his dad was glad that I let our son live. He is now a happy little two year old. A mother has to care for her child so it is right that the father contributes money for his children. It is so that a father doesn't have any say in whether the lady has an abortion. If the lady has the baby he is due for child maintenance. I believe abortion is horrible for babies and mentally harmful for ladies that have one. The abortionist must be a very nasty person.

I don't think so. I think the child is not only for the woman also for the man. It is very hard to tell any rule about it. Situation will tell you the rights of abortion.

Who decides whether a child is wanted or not? The trouble with man is we would like to play God. We complain about the littlest of things, like staying up late to cradle a baby. And when we couldn't cope, we resort to such things as abortion. When did God anoint man to have the power to terminate life?

I would prefer not to do abortion. On my own opinion, taking lives of innocent babies violates the laws of God. We dont have rights to kill anyone. Like what you have said, we are woman.... born to take care of babies up until they grow up and be independent. It is part of the grow up and be independent. It is part of the cycle. If you dont want unwanted babies, then do not do anything crazy that would result to have an unwanted baby.. This is on my own opinion

I think all women should have the right to choose. I also think it is important to have the fathers input as well, however unfortunately it will come down to what the women decides to do.

I think that this is a rough topic that would usually start arguments.. However I beieve in womans rights.. It is her body and I believe she could decide whats right for her body.. I also believe that everyone is entitled to there opinions. Nobody has the right to tell a woman what to do with her own body..

i think this is a tough topic to be debated... but still am for it if the women's body is critical and nobody can stop her from doing what she likes.. but am against it if its lik aborting it probably she does'n want it now without any proper reasons..
