I have been wanting a cell phone but can't afford the deposit they ask for. I have been looking at pre paid cell phones. But do not know what is the best one. What is your opinion about the prepaid cell phones and what do you think is the best one to get and why?

I got a new prepaid cell phone a few months ago and did a little research prior to that. I personally prefer the AT&T models, many of which are affordable and have good appearance. Do you have any specific network in mind, that can narrow down your choice.

I do not have a specofoc network in mind. Just trying to get all the info I can before I make a choice. What AT&T model do you prefer the most?

Last time I got an AT&T Samsung A177. It's a low-end QWERTY phone. The keypad is a bit small, but once you get used to the tiny buttons, you'll find the keypad quite easy to use. Overall, I quite like this phone.

In the Philippines, we have many pre-paid CP to choose from or better yet prepaid SIM cards where you can buy one and load any amount to use it. Don't you have pre-paid lines being offered there?

That's well and good. Take your time to do a bit of research to see if what plans suits you and your lifestyle. Good luck.

Prepaid is the best because you have the most control over how much you spend. If you are just using it for emergencies or convenience and not talking too much it's cheaper than a contract phone.

prepaid sim cards are the best way to go especially if you do not use your cellphone a lot. Just avail of the promo of the telecommunications company and everything will be set :) I use a prepaid sim card at the moment and I think I'm getting the most for my money :) Just choose which provider is the best for you.
