It was a real nightmare here over the weekend. Southeastern Pennsylvania got hit with over two feet of snow at the time we were attempting to install our new computer and DSL and we couldn't get it up and running. There was NO internet in the blizzard so we had to do old fashioned things like read, watch videos, eat, talk etc. Finally got the system put together and should be okay when the next foot of snow hammers in here Tues. night. What would you do if you were snowed in without any possiblility of internet access?

We were lucky in our neck of the woods as we too were supposed to be hit with a huge snowstorm, but somehow completely by-passed us...they're saying another snowstorm is on it's way on Tuesday night also and all day Wednesday like you are...this time we might not be so lucky and might actually get snow. As for being snowed in and not have internet...think I'd go nuts...LOL. But I would probably catch up on a lot of cleaning chores

Boy were you lucky. We wound up with about 4 feet in the two storms that week & I'm only now getting up on the computer. There's still so much snow all over the place that I hadtrouble finding an unsnowed in spot for the recycles this morning.

I guess it would be a nightmare, it would be among my WORST nightmares! I guess if it happened to me I would cry and throw a tantrum and then I'd have to find something to read or do some word and number puzzles. I might do some writing on my computer, like maybe write some myLot posts to save until later and I might play solitaire on the computer. Unfortunately, one of the things I'd probably do for sure would be EAT...lol! Maybe the best thing I could do would be to take a sleeping pill and take a long nap! Annie

Yes, the eating part was well covered here. Strangely, the lines at the supermarket right before the storm were not as long as they usually are. Maybe, people are trying to not eat so much but I don't think so. They probably just got an earlier start than I did.
