I have been writing on mylot almost all day and I keep a count of how many I reply to everyday. Well I started out today at 5342 and was up to 5362 when all of a sudden after replying to a discussion its back down to 5355. I am so mad. I don't really understand why 7 were deleted. After writing so much that my left hand is hurting.

Same for me. I noticed some of mine decreasing as well, I'm guessing 7 or so as well. It was just now a few hours back when I was busy responding that I accumulated some. But I didn't think much about it, until I saw your discussion. So must be a glitch somewhere somehow. Couldn't be deleted discussions that many, I'd think.

That's weird. It stinks too because you have spent so much time on them. It's a shame when the members get punished because someone has violated the guidelines. That is a lot at once though and I have also known of perfectly good discussions getting deleted for no reason too. Take care and I hope that doesn't happen again.

I really don’t know why but of late quite a few of my discussions have been deleted as well. I don’t start many discussions myself but love replying to others and try and keep a count of where I left off yesterday…for the past few days on logging in, I see I’m back by at least three or four discussions, though I cant recollect which of my responses where deleted. Funny part is that whenever a discussion that had my response was deleted, mylot notified it. Like just day before yesterday, I had replied to a religious discussion and the person replied back and when I wanted to post another reply, I saw the mylot notification that the discussion was deleted due to guidelines violations and such. So that was one gone…wonder where the others went???!!!

Most likely you replied to someones discussion that was deleted.
It is very annoying when this happens as it is throigh no fault of your own.

I think you need to write an e mail and find out why it happened, perhaps it can be rectified.
I have had things like that happen to me on another Site. Once all my Hubs went down, for no reason. Bizarre!

Maybe it was just bad luck and those threads were delete. That's the only thing I can come up with since 7 were deleted. The most I have seen disappear has been 2 at one time so I do not know.

you know what probably happened? one of your friends that you replied to several of their discussions got deleted and there fore your replies disappeared and got subtracted.. it happens to me every once in awhile to where now i dont freak unless its a HUGE amount

that is quite a lot in a day ..i will also be discouraged as well, can we actually know which are the discussions that has been removed or deleted ??

I have not counted and verified till now how many postings i am doing and the number is increasing accordingly or not,i have not keen interest on that,only i am posting responses and responses to the discussions received by me by yahoomail,have a nice day

It happens. Sometimes our posts are not "quality" ones and been reported, evaluated, and even deleted :(
Or maybe you've responded to some non "quality" discussion, or to some discussion that violated the guidelines.
Take it easy, you just need to better chose the discussions you respond ;)

You should not be discouraged, but encouraged to respond to "quality discussions".

I don't know about quality though..because I don't think MyLot is that strict to maintain quality response...but then again maybe someone report it

Oh! That is a lot lenlin1123! I understand how disappointed you are... Responding to deleted discussions sometimes happens to me as well... but the most for a day is just three... Too bad... Imagine how much time we put in responding to one discussion then all of a sudden, because of certain reason -- your response will be deleted too... Well, you can check your responded topics and see which ones were deleted... even if the discussion is deleted, it will still appeared or posted in our activities...
