Wasted Money for Campaign! who is telling the truth

Honestly I am just tired of hearing anything about politics in our country,Yes I love my country but I hate the people who governs here. I am a Filipino from the Philippines. I am a proud Filipino but sometimes It is shameful to be one. Our country is rich in Natural Resources, we have a lot of beautiful places to be proud of and I believe there are lot of Filipinos who are talented, skillful and Smart. Some people might generalize us because of other doings but still there are a lot of Filipino People who are kind Kind hearted responsible and honest. now, as seen in the television. headlines: Running for President in our country spending almost or more than 200 million just for television ad. WOW! there are lot of Filipinos have no food to eat, no money to buy medicine and no even no home for comfort. If only I can BOYCOTT the election, I will.. I still don't know who really is responsible and honest to govern the country well. in your opinion friends? who do you if I were to ask NOynoy Aquino or Manny Villar? I pity Philippines. huhuhuhuhuhu :):)

You need to add a few candidates because if it's between Noynoy and Villar, Noynoy is an easy choice. But i would not really put so much hope in any of the candidates because that's only where they are good at, making promises yet nothing happens for the better. I just look at it as a circus. Once the election is over, we're back at our normal lives again. But one thing that we should never do, lose hope since that the only thing left. I believe there's still hope for the Philippines.

hi ybong, sometimes when the leader is good the alliance are the problem. The people that surround who also make their own ways. Yes I still have hope for the Philippines. I love my country and I love being a filipino inspite all. May God Grant us Good and Honest leaders who can govern our Country.

Yes you're right. That's why we need a real leader. Someone who can make his own decisions and stand by it. Someone who is not beholden to anybody. It's really a big challenge for our would be president since it's going to be a test of his or her will. Our current political system is composed of mostly corrupt if not people who turn a blind eye on corruption. Our would be president will be tested if he or she has the political will to change it or be shallowed by it.

hi dorothy, Sounds as if your country is pretty typical when it comes to politics. I live in the states and that's how it is here too. when it comes to political people and the media, you just never know who to believe.We have people starving here and homeless etc. Still, millions are spent in government spending that is just careless and senseless.

Politics are dirty games. It is being played by people, the politicians, who are racing to get voted, to be popular and to enrich themselves. What do we gain by complaining, criticizing and condemning these hungry politicians or even getting upset? We cannot transform them and so we waste our time and energy. We become negative and, therefore less effective. This is a variety drama of each one having his own individual role. Let us become masters of our own senses and observe every scene of the drama of life with love and pray that God give wisdom to the leaders of tomorrow.

hi there zandi, thank you so much for taking time to answer my post. I can get help but sometime I get depressed as you said. Well good for me I can still feel comfort in my life . Unlike my fellow women. I am not a hero but I would like to help. but sometimes by helping you are helping other people getting lazy. Agree that will just pray to God to give wisdom to our Leaders and Most especially Conscience. Because most of the Politician just swallow there conscience and just be self center aiming for his/her own good and to his/her family only. =d09:)

yeah your right, i think you just have to vote who you think can change our country.. you know, voting with your conscience, vote with consideration toward other peoople and not just yourself and hoping that everyone would vote the same way like what you would do. voting with conscience.

hi there emgee thanks for taking time to respond on my emaail. If only every voter is wise enough and would take time to know more about the candidate. watch documentaries and research. Im sure we will come out with a good leader. But I would like to ask what do we want for a leader? Because we always complain. who every is in the position when we are not please we complain. hmmmmmmmmmm..one thing also that would help is to help educate other filipinos especially those in the provinces. They just believe on hearsay . and believe what their neighbors said... If only we would take time to know the candidate so that we can come up with the good one. watching documentary and do research would help. =d09:)
