Have you ever read a book that you just can't put down because it was so full of action or suspence? If so, what is the name of the book? And why did you like it so much?

I like chinese martial arts storyline books so I had read a lot of such books that I would always want to finish the whole book in a few days by reading continuously. The book names are chinese. A few examples include "tian xia di yi jian", "tian long ba bu", "xue shan fei hu", "xiao shi yi lang". The plot is very exciting and you always want to see what happens next. You would felt anxious for the main character sometimes.

Hello Oschantz, welcome to Mylot :) Oh yes, Im reading one now and cant put it down. I set myself some read time or Id spend all day reading haha. Im reading "Strangers" by Dean Koontz. I think it was published a while back but I dont mind. Im part of a group and we exchange books. The books are bought at a Church for about 25 cents each. I like the suspense of this story. Im halfway through it. Its about a group of people who dont know each other but they all have the same strange dreams, black outs called "fugue" in the story, obsession with the moon and they're nearly all afraid of something but dont know what exactly. Sounds like they must have seen something, been manipulated to forget what happened and now are trying to remember. Im fascinated by the story because it sort of rings a bell for me. One of the people in the group is a little girl, she's so afraid of being touched by doctors or anything that has to do with medicine......Im like that!! I know its a story and not real but I cant help myself and I sure want to find out what happened to them.......No I dont cheat and read the last page first haha!! I like to find out in good time and meanwhile I enjoy the suspense....even if its killing me !!

Of course! There are many books like that! At the moment I'm reading a book called Wicked: Witch and Curse and Wicked: Legacy and Spellbound by Nancy Holder and Debbie Viguie. One minute you think everything is settled down and everything is going to be okay and all of a sudden something happens! It's a really awesome book and I suggest it to anyone! You can buy it at Barnes and Noble for about $7 dollars!
