I was reading a book, I forget what it's called but it was about the future and the past. I won't go into details about the book but will say there was a tartar buster type device. I forget how it was described, but it did away with plaque, leaving the teeth clean. My question is, what would you feel comfortable with being in your mouth to "bust" tartar out?

Soda as in the white powder use to refresh refrigerators and such. The soda as in Pepsi and such actually can take the outer layer off your teeth and that cannot be repaired.

They have fluoride water. I used to take it to school and drink it. Kind of odd but it tasted good as long as it didn't get shook up.

Oh yea there's a bunch of tartar toothpastes out there. There's even dentist prescribed stuff, though I think it was just fluoride toothpaste.

I do not remember if you told me about the book you were reading and if it was any good I might think about reading it,and that is cool that it had a tarter buster type device in it,and I am not sure with what I would want in my mouth to clean it, and it would be cool if they had little men I guess like the scrubbing bubbles that clean showers, that can go in your mouth and clean your teeth and fight off the plaque that would be trying to take over, and if someone ever invented something like that they would be a genius,I love you with all of my heart and soul.

If you ask me id rather use brushing then the use of a mouthwash to clean my teeth. Soda will help alot but its not too healthy to use it too often. It leaves some residues that might be harmful to your health if taken in. So just to be safe brush your teeth regularly and take mouthwash afterwards and im pretty sure everything will be fine do it regulary and visit your dentist too ;)
