Hello christians! What is your favorite Bible passage and why?? Well mine is Isaiah 65:1. "I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, to a nation that was not called by my name" I guess it's no one elses favorite scripture. The reason I like this passage is because my husband and I are in the missionary field among the unreached ethnic groups of Mexico and God told us to go to a village where no one is christian, quite the opposite. They made a statemente where all the people agreed they will not be of any religion not allow it in that place. And anyone who wanted to do so will be either kicked out or killed. I know its a big challange but this passage God gave me; That even if they don't want to know anything about Jesus, he wants to reveal himself to them. And that encourages me always and also that we are responsables to get at least one representant of that group before the throne in heaven as John saw in Revelations! So please keep us in your prayers! Thank you, Libna.

Hi libna, Mark 11:34 "Therefore I tell you whatever you ask for in prayer, believe you have received it and it shall be yours." With this to inspire me, it assures me that with faith, everything will fall into place. It may take time, but with persistence, it will happen sooner or later. Let us pray and ask the Lord to enlighten their minds, at least one or a few of them to lead their group and help you in your mission in Mexico. God bless you and your husband, libna.

Hi bamikalipal. Thank you for writing your passage down. I think this are very powerful words and we shall use them for God is promising us that he will provide our needs and desires. I agree with you that things don't come when we want to, but when we need them and when it's God's will. God is very good and loves us too much that he reminds his promises and our desires and does what's best for us. Thank you for your prayers and God bless you very much. Libna.

Hi libna! Since I accepted Jesus in my heart as my Lord and Savior, He gave Hebrews 12:2 "Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." This is my life verse.

You are right! Every verse has a lot of interpretation. Before, I asked God why He gave that verse to me... along the way I found the answer. I honestly admit that I easily discourage especially when I saw Christian acting like not the one.... God thought me that not to look on each and everyone's short coming instead look always on Him. Know I can tolerate the imperfection of others because I know that I am imperfect too. God bless us! Have a good day to you!

Hello kd_fmay! Its good to see you shared with me your favorite passage! This is a very deep scripture for me because its very important to focus in Jesus, what he did in the cross and keep our faith in him. At the cross he humbled down, but now he is gloryfied in the throne! I love him very much. God bless you, Libna.

I have always felt comforted whenever i read or recite john 3;16, for God so loved that world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Since i was a child i have recited this verse and it does comfort me and feel so loved and special. I also keeps on reminding me that God is a very loving God. I wish you and your husband well. The world needs you. what you can do I honestly can't do. It requires so much of self giving and I guess I am called differently. More power to you and your husband and God bless!

That is a great scripture cdparazo. God gave his only son to save us. When Adam and Eve failed God had to fix what they messed up. Because there was no sin until they ate of the forbidden fruit. That is why Jesus had to die for us all so he could save us.

Greetings Libna, Oh I have so many favorite scriptures that comes to mind. However,I have two scriptures that seem to go hand in hand. The first commandment,"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength",Jesus stated this in Mark 12:30. Then Psalm 37:4,"Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart". To me, by demistrating both of these scriptures, God gives me a promise that whatever my heart desires He will grant it. For example, one of my desires is to have my youngest daughter come home this year. At times I see the delicate situation unchanging through my natural eyes. But by standing firm in His word and not waiver, I know God will grant my desire because I love Him and truly delight in His Word. He is still in control of everything. Ok, I hope I didn't go off from your question too much. I also wanted to encourage you and your husband in where God has called you in the mission field. That somehow God will do His work through both of you to reach those who do not know His son, Jesus. God bless you and keep you under His protection. ccdiane

Ccdiane, greetings to you too. Thank you for sharing this passages with us. I agree that loving God above all things with everything we are, is the most important thing to do, so it should be a very important passage for all of us. Psalm 37:4 is a very big promise God gives us if we are in his presence. I agree with you, God will forfill his promises for us. I'll pray for that desire that you have in your heart and I know your daughter is in His hands. Thank you for your words for us, please keep us in your prayers. God bless you, Libna.

I read and like lots of scriptures. Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against me shall prosper and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me saith the Lord. To me that means anything that tries to come against me it will fail. l

There are so many. I guess I would have to go with Romans 8:28: "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good, to those hwo love God and to those who are called according to his purpose."
