Same Old Routine

When you know you are going to have to go to the grocery store do you plan ahead? Do you know exactly what you are going to get? And maybe your husband or wife or parent tells you only get the things we need and you say o.k. and then when you get home do you have a lot of extra things that you were not supposed to get? L.O.L. It happens to me all the time and I seem to go the the same store every Saturday and it used to be on a Friday. It just seems like the same thing over and over do you think I should find a differtnt store?

Going shopping doesn't bore me, I find it enjoyable and exciting. I think first how much is my shopping budget and make a list of the stuffs the family will need for the week. I always stick on my list. Since I've been doing this for years, I know where the goods I need are located so I go directly to its location. Sticking to my list refrains me from picking goods that are not needed and will only get me short on my budget. I suggest that you also bring only the sufficient amount and a list with you so you won't be getting stuffs you are not supposed to get.

I must admit, it's far too easy to slip into a routine of buying the same stuff over and over and over again when I go food shopping, especially because most of the time I have to buy within a budget, so I have to decide what is essential and what is merely indulgence

I myself am on a budget too and it is hard to get things that I really want to get so I end up buying the same cheap things and they don't last.

Nah well, I run off to the store whenever I need something, in our place there are a lot of small stores scattered here and there. So normal stuff like batteries, razor, tothbrush can be gotten right away. For more speciality stuff, I hit the market which takes 10 minutes by cycle, so no biggie. And I dun make lists. Not my style. I use my excelllent memory

we cannot avoid it. even if you list down all the things you need or what you should only be buying, there are still some items bought that are not included in the list, because when you are in the grocery store, you will find the item necessary. or even if you have listed all that you probably be needing, there are still left unlisted and you can't buy at that time. there are still next time, right? but what we have usually is buy only the things most needed up to the reach of what available in the pocket.

I always plan ahead before I go to the store. I make out my list of what I really need to get so that way I don't go off buying other things. Every time though I always buy extra! I am normally hungary when I go in which is not a good thing. I always want to slap my hand when it reaches out to grab something that I really don't need. I always go to the same store just because it saves me a little time because I know where everything is in the store. Some times it is good to go into a different store now and then because they may carry different products that you would like to try out. I think some times it is good to keep a routine though, something in your life that you can look forward to and know what to expect.

I get the basic staples always. I also try to change the menu because the same foods are boring and you do not want to eat it over and over. Al least I / we do not. Yes we definitely by extras especially if the price is right. We try to do it moderation, but that is so hard. How many bags of chips can you buy and eat in a week. We do experiment with food and drinks to change up the taste. Sometimes a good concoction comes out of sometime well we won't talk about it, lol. I try not going to the store everyday since that is when impulse shopping comes to play. Go in for one item and walk with twenty. Its cost effective for the shopper to do shopping once a week and not daily.
