no matter if I like or not I still accepted it because it's my special day and never want to upset her. I'm happy if someone give present for me and thanks to her, It means my life means to her.

Tim has never given me anything so if he were to get me a useless gift. I would tresure it like gold coins. I think the saying it's the thought that counts is true.

First of all you should be happy because he/she brought you a gift . I will tell her/ him that i like the present because she/he tried to make me happy with that gift, and i`ll be so rude to tell that i don`t like that gift . If you love that person, you`ll like all that it`s from that boy/girl , just because it`s from your lover .

It's the thought that counts ksmita. There's no such thing as useless gift for me. I like all the gifts I received and about to receive..haha, even though I have it already. You mentioned specific occasion, anyway no matter what the occasion the gift should be enjoyed. That's my opinion. Good day to you!

I accept it in a gracious manner. It was the thought that counts after all. Its just some people do make mistakes and get an unfitting gift. There are times where there are just gifts given that the best intentions are in mind but even the best intentions can be mistaken. Therefore just smile and be happy, no matter how much you dislike the gift or think how tacky it is.

i still accept the gift even though it is really something useless, because i don't want to hurt his feeling. but slowly in the future, i will tell him that next time i don't need that kind of gift :)
