Well I only have one right now. I use to breed minature Dachshunds and I would have 7-10 dogs at one time. Most of the time I have only had 2 dogs at any given time. How many do you have?

Dog or cat?

Awww! I adore mutts they make the best pets. 10 and 1/2 is very old for any dog but does he still have some puppy in him? Even my 15 year old gets frisky sometimes.

How old are they? I don't think I have ever seen this breed in real life. How long do they usually live?

Five years old is still in kitten stage right? What kind of cat? I love to watch cats play but I actually am afraid of cats. I enjoy kittens and I love BIG cats like lions, but regular house cats scare me, cuz once I was petting one when I was younger and all of a sudden it arched its back and hissed then scratched me down the face with both paws. I was told it must have seen something behind me, I was squatting outside in the road during this time. But ever since I have been very afraid to go near house cats.

I think I read where 15 is around the life span of a cat. I know it is hard when you lose one after so long.
