This question came to mind since I had some work done on my heating system and one of the workers was average looking but so amazingly conceited and vain! Started me wondering, who is more Vain - Men or Women. Most women spend more time on their looks, ie Makeup, Hair, Clothes, etc but does that mean they are more Vain? I don't think so! From what I have seen lately, I think Men are the more Vain ones!! What do you think?

Hmmm...Is that vanity or insecurity? Not sure which. I think women are under a higher set of expectations for how we look than men. But some very average men think they are Gorgeous and that I don't understand. Thanks for sharing! Be Well!!

I agree, men can be hard to figure out. More so than most women I've met but maybe that's because I'm female. Thanks for sharing! Be Well!!

I think they both can be pretty vain..lol..I have met men that think the sun rise and set in their rear which at the time surprised me. I knew a guy once that would do the tanning bed, nails, waxed eyebrows, teeth whitening..lol..the whole nine yards. He was pretty vain.

I have met more men that were vain in terms of thinking they were a Gift from above for all women. Most women I know feel pressured to always look their best. After all how many Men's Handsome Magazines are out there and how many Men's fashion shows? Yikes,,he sounds far better groomed than me!

For me, I know more men who are more vain than women. I did not expect men to be but I had experiences wherein out of town trips shows alot of men showing their vain part of themselves. But again being vain is not bad for as long as the person puts a limit to it.

I agree that some level of vanity is okay. But some people take it to an extreme. Where they are so conceited that they think they are better than others. That is to me offensive.

I did met a few men who are vain, but mostly are women. I used to be vain but now I'm kind of lazy. I don't have to go out to work anyway, my work is at home. So not much make ups needed.
