I have never been on a blind date. I don't like the world of the unknown.

I have never been on a blind date either but it is something I probably would have done if that had come up . I like to fix people up on blind dates and right now we are tying to fix my niece up with someone I think would be really good for her . I hope it works out for them but if not they could end up being really good friends .

I met my first husband on a blind date. The marriage didn't last in the long run, but it was a good first date. We were introduced through mutual friends.

That is why I probably refused to be set up by people. How do you tell someone that the perfect guy they fixed you up with is not so perfect?

I have never been on a blind date. I would be scared to do this, what if the person is a bad person I just don't think that I could get over that fear.

I've never gone on a blind date. I just don't think it would work out well - you want to know that you have something in common with the person going into the date. Otherwise you get those awkward silences... I have heard of people that had a good experience on them, though.

I'm not sure if it means I'm an idiot or just ballsy? LOL I've been on a few, none were worth going again! Wait, one was and we are great friends to this day. But I'd still go on them if it came up, simply because you never know. You only live once, don't pass up a chance at something.

I have never been on a blind date either! My friends have tried over the years, but I just don't like the idea. I like to pick them out myself! I've never even considered the world of Internet dating, either. It just seems that there is too much potential to invite scams and lies into your life that way. I know I'm being pessimistic, but that's just me!

I have never been into one. But I believe it is fine to accept blind dates for as long as, the person who arranged it will also be there. This is in order to avoid circumstances which may prove to be very embarrassing at times. Of course, it is expected that the person who arranged the meeting, is familiar with you both, hence, he knows how to go about the first date.

I have been a couple of blind dates and none them ever turned out that good. My own sister set me up this guy who was just so wrong for me. You think she would have known that. We were in a restaurant and he got up to go to the bathroom and asked me now to leave. And he was serious. I told him I couldn't leaves because he drove. And the date got worse from there. Thanks goodness I met my husband. No blind dates for me.

I have been on a couple of blind dates set up by friends. And none of them went very well. My sister actually tried to set me up with one of her husbands friends. He was so not my type. I thought at least she should have known that. I never let her set up again.

I have never been on a blind date. I think I would have been too nervous to accept, even it had been offered. Mind you, now that I think about it, the first time I met my husband in person was a bit like a blind date -- although we met online and had talked on the phone endlessly (and also through emails and instant messages), when I met him at the airport I didn't have a clue what he looked like! I had a physical description but had never seen a photograph.

I have been on about a total or 5 or 6 blind dates in my lifetime. The first one I went on, we had absolutely nothing in common. The second one, he grossed me out when we went out for dinner because I HATE mushrooms and he ordered a whole plate full of them as an appetizer. The 3rd one, I took one look at him and wanted to run the other way. I know it's not nice to judge people by their looks alone (and I am no beauty queen myself) but I simply did not find even one thing remotely attractive about him! The 4th one was just ackward, neither one of us knew what to say. The 5th one was a date set up by my sister and her future husband. They wanted me to meet a friend of his. Well, I am still with this man and we have a 12 year old daughter together, so obviously this one worked out just fine.
