My best advice is to just not buy any junk food. start doing a recipie search of your favorite veggies and go from there. I have troubles here as we have winters and produce being out of season is pricey & most produce is eaten cold.... it's cold outside I don't want something cold to eat KWIM? Though I love salads in summer & we plant many tomato plants in our garden they can't ripen fast enough to satisfy my family.

I am a junk food lover before and what I did was I slowly did not eat junk foods and at the same time I think of nutritious foods that I really like, for example fruit salad. After some time, I realize that I don't eat that much junk food anymore and always eating fruits and vegetables. Maybe this one will work for you too

It's best to avoid junk foods if you can. I, too, would eat them much more than I should. The best compromise I've been able to come up with is an 80-20 ratio, as in eating healthy most of the time, and having "junk food" maybe just weekend days. Yes, your health suffers when your diet is filled with non-nutritive and non-recognizable "foods" from no particular food group! So, that being said, it takes about three weeks to kind of re-train your taste buds. I have just had that experience. The key is to keep that lifestyle and that takes discipline. You can't beat yourself up, just try to make the splurges rarer each day until you find what combinations work for you. I do guarantee you'll feel more healthy when you become less chemical in what you ingest.

i have the same probem like you and i am addicted to it . i eat a lot of junk foods . i cant be there without eating them for more than a week . i know that they are not good for health but i cant stop it. the best way to prevent it is to find a alternative food or alternative place to eat the food . if you cant stop it then try to reduce the frequency you eat the junk food . thats the only way

its just a matter of self-control and self discipline. if you think you can avoid to eat all of these things, then you CAN! never store junk foods in your food cabinet or fridge..in that way,you can alleviate your craving.. and you can get used to it in any time.

If you having cravings for junk foods, you may need to eat more protein. This stabilizes your blood sugar and eventually decrease your need for junk food. You also need to make a conscious effort to stop. Try to figure out when you most feel like eating junk food - is it at night, is it when you're stressed, while watching TV, etc. Then you know when a junk food attack is coming and do something preemptive. You can't get rid of a behavior without exchanging it for something else so the suggestions above, like replacing junk with healthy ones, are good actions to take. Also, eat complete balanced meals at regular times. This way you set your body on a schedule.
