Every now and again as you use the search bar you will be notified of a 'reward' and its value. I just got one and noticed that it is immediately credited to your account (under a new 'rewards' column).
As far as I can see, the rewards are allocated randomly, so you can't say 'how much per search', only that the more you use it, the more likely you are to get a reward.

It seems to be in its early days. I find that searching the Web very often brings up no results but it seems to work well for searching MyLot discussions before you post a topic which may be very similar to another.

The other thing that you will find is that you will occasionally get a message saying that "suspicious activity has been detected". I think that this means that it has a system that detects if you try to make the same search too many times.

i made so intense search today using mylot search bar. I got 6 cents and later i got the suspected account message.

I havent tried it much and erally dont know.MAybe the hardcore myloters can help you.I dont think it will be big reward but sure mylot wont dissappoint you.Iam also eager to know when will my reward appear.Iam waiting....any ways HAPPY MYLOTTING
