Do you always eat breakfast?

I read somewhere that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I used to always eat breakfast. Back when i was in school, my father would never allow me to leave for school on an empty stomach. And he would always wake up early to cook hot dogs and eggs and prepare toast. And when i got older and went to college (and later on when i started working), i always had oatmeal or cornflakes for breakfast How 'bout you guys? Is breakfast or brunch a meal you never skip? And what do you always eat for breakfast?

Yes, breakfast is an important meal that one should make time to eat. It breaks your night fast and it fires up your metabolism. It should be eaten before 9 AM. For breakfast I eat oatmeal with a teaspoon of coffee mixed in, milk, a dash of cinnamon and sunflower kernels. I usually have a banana or pineapple on the side. If I don't have time to eat the fruit, I take it to work for my snack. On weekends, I have a cup of coffee, a piece of toast, an egg (either scrambled or sunny side up) and bacon or hot dog. Sometimes I have an avocado sandwich with my coffee. For my coffee, I take it with milk and brown sugar. Enjoy your breakfast jjquiroz7, you certainly need it.

You are welcome, it's been my pleasure, jjquiroz! And btw, a banana shake on a weekend with a quick taco filled with grated cheese, lettuce, tomato and left-over chicken would be great, too. Enjoy!

I must be an odd one out, I don't eat breakfast and have always felt slightly sick if I do eat first thing in the morning. I generally don't bother with anything other than a cup of coffee in the Morning.

I always try to, and unless I am running late for work, I do eat breakfast. They say it's the most important meal and that it serves to keep your metabolism running high from early on in the day. Also, if you skip it you'll be hungry and over compensate by eating a lot later on. And I find that's been true for me. If I skip a meal, I over-eat later.

I wa also raised by my dad to always eat breakfast because it is important to have food in your tummy at the beginning of each day. But now I have moved to my in-laws place, I have learned to not eat breakfast each day because the food does not entice me so much as back in my parents place. Hopefully I go back to my old self and eat breakfast daily.

I usually eat breakfast. It is usually only cereal or oatmeal but I eat something. The only time I don't eat it is if I know I am going to have a big lunch out. When I worked I didn't eat it, because I slept every possible second and I didn't want to get up early enough to eat. It is supposed to be the most important meal of the day, and keep you from overeating the rest of the day, and that was true with me. By the time I did eat something I was starving. Now I do not work, so I eat breakfast, and I skip lunch a lot of times. I am just not hungry till dinnertime!

I usually don't eat breakfast but for the past few years have eased myself back into eating early as I need the energy and don't want to eat so late. I find that eating early allows me to rest earlier as well so I have a lot of time on my hand at the end of the day which I can spend mylotting. :) I like to have oatmeal or a fruit like a banana or yogurt to sustain before lunch where my first main meal is eaten.

I know it is one of the most important meals that we should all not skip but I do. I just don't really like it. I will have it once in a while but it seems for me to make me hungry more through the day when I do eat it. I don't know why I used to stop every morning at a local diner to eat breakfast with a friend but besides gaining weight I just don't do it any more!! If I get hungry before I leave to work I will usually just have a bowl of cereal.

Oh, cereal's good enough. I consider it breakfast, although i'm not really sure if it does qualify. heheheh... But i guess that would depend on one's preference on weather to eat or not to eat breakfast :)

I always eat a nice, wholesome breakfast before starting each day I love breakfast, and would literally collapse of starvation if I deprived myself on it. Why miss out on such a delicious meal?

I always have breakfast- it really is the most important meal of the day. Eating good food in the morning gives your body "fuel" to ge through the day, and it'll stop you from getting hungry and snacking a lot between meals. ^-^

That's true! It really does keep me going throughout the day. And it keeps me from snacking before lunchtime. :)

I try to eat breakfast every morning. If not I get bloated and crabby.lol I usually eat a pop tart, granola bar, cereal or toast. It just usually depends on how much time I have to eat. Before school usually a pop tart is all I can manage to inhale before I have to leave!

If I am leaving my home for a few hours, I will always eat something first. When I am staying home, I do not always eat breakfast. If I get hungry, then I will get something to eat.

Hi JJquiroz7, You are rite the breakfast is the most important meal of the day. we should also not skip the dinner at the night as there will a gap of 10 hours till the time we have breakfast in the morning, if we skip these two then we will be facing many health problems then. Have a great day.

It's really difficult for me to eat breakfast every morning. I don't like to eat at the morning. When i was my school and college usually i went there without it anythings. But at the break time of school and college i eat somethings. And now here i am alone. My parents are not with me. Maximum time i take one bread or apple or something else eat before go to the class. Otherwise i feel so hungry in the class as my class duration is 3 hours or more then 3.

i do, because i agree and believe that it's the most important meal of the day... you take it just before you begin your workday and it's only proper to have sufficient food that will give you enough energy in going about your task... at noontime, it is supplemented by lunch, but at dinnertime, it is no longer necessary to have that much food intake...
