which is the best hard disk brand , and the one u preffer

I have used different hard disks of various brands
but presently i am using seagate , maxtor
i never faced problems with it
nor i wish to face
but i feel a bit worried about speed capablities
which one do u prffer and y ?

seagate offers best reliability. WDC craves speed. if you wanna speed, then go for WDC Raptor series.

I am not very expert. but what i can share with you is my experience,
i use the harddrive of Seagate and i think its running fine still. they have given me the warranty of 5 years and this is good enough , which proves also the credibility of the company in its product.

seagate is also nice. buffalo is cheaper and reliable, too.

ya i bought a maxtor an year ago it is the cheaper than western digital
