First off if you have a knack for writing, there are quite a few different sites that can help you get a jump start on your writing career, however, you aren't going to become a success over-night. 1) Start off small and learn from others who have been writing online and doing freelance for quite some time. 2) A great site to start off with is a site like Helium, this will help give you the fundamentals and get you started. 3) If you are already an avid writer, you may want to consider writing for such sites as Associated Content or Contant Content or Suite 101. All require that you write an article or show them some of your work. 4) Practice makes improvement. It is always good to find places like right here on mylot to work on your skills for writing. Being able to create the proper sentence structure, is always a must. Good luck with your writing!

I earn my entire income from writing. I write for private clients, I write SEO web content and I also sell articles to several magazines. Occasionally I'll sell short stories and fiction to various publications too. There are so many different ways to earn money from writing. It all depends on what you're willing to write and how much you're willing to work to improve your writing skills.

Well I am also thinking of starting to write articles to make some online money. I have done a bit of research as well. There are ways two earn money from writing online. First is from webmaster forums. Join a webmaster forum and make a topic saying you write articles or look for topics that says someone needs an article writer. Examples of Webmaster Forums are "Digital Point" and "GetAFreelancer". You get 2$ to 10$ this per article depending on quality of your writing. If you have awesome writing skills then you can even charge more money. Second way is to write articles for a site (like eHow, Associated Content, Suite 101 etc.) They pay you as per no. of visits on your article. So if you write some topic that will get lot of traffic you'll get lot of money and for a long period of time. That makes lot of money. You can decide which way you wanna follow. I am thinking of going with 2nd Option. Happy MyLotting :D

Yes, writing is my way of earning money online. I write articles for Triond and most of them are how tos and health and home making articles. By that I earn residual income, so I still earn money even though I haven't been writing for ages lol. My suggestion is always try to explore your idea. Write about the topics you know/like or do some research. Read others' work and by that you'll gain a lot of inspiration.
