I am having to run a few errands to get some bills paid. But after that I am going to put some chicken in the slow cooker and check out more of the Olympics! I haven't seen much yet but really want to! Hockey and the Skiing events are two of my favorite events, How about you?

I will be working from home tomorrow but I guess you could call it a day off since I enjoy doing it. You gave me an idea on what to make tomorrow and I am going to pull my roaster oven out and make corned beef and cabbage for dinner. My two favorite events are hockey and snowboarding.

Corned Beef and Cabbage and Potatoes? Can I join everyone? My mom used to make what she called a Boston Boiled dinner and it was those 3 together! Very tasty with a bit of dijon mustard! I am looking forward to seeing some of the snowboarding too as they are some amazing new talented folks this year. Take care!

it was family day here in the province where i am in Canada (only 3 provinces actually celebrate the day) so we all got the day off (its a stat holiday) and to that end, we had a lazy day as none of the stores were open. we slept in, had a big breakfast and went skating. then our Canadian history channel had a M*A*S*H marathon all day so we switched between that, Cake Boss (on TLC) and the Olympics.

No Presidents Day off for me. It's to the grind most everyday except for the larger holidays. I don't think I get anymore days off until Easter. I haven't got to watch as much of the Olympics as I would like either but I am catching them as I can. My favorite is the iceskating.

Most of my work and schooling is done from home, so I guess the fact that I am taking a lighter day does constitute as a day off for me. As for what I am going to do, well I am going to get some MyLot posting done today. Perhaps I will sit back and relax, to see if there is anything good on television. Play a game or two on the computer. There are a number of things that I can do today. A number of possibilities, it just depends on where I want to go. Still, I do not plan on doing too much heavy work today, so that's about the closest thing I can consider to be a day off. Today is going to be a good day to kick back a bit, before the hectic part of the week kicks into high gear.
