Hey icesmile! I don't really think that this is a fair question! You can't replace a person with the Internet! But, if you want me to answer the question I choose the Internet! Shame on me! I love the Internet so much and it sometimes gives me more comfort than my "real friends" do! In fact, they give me more grief when I have to listen to their problems! The Internet lets me "get away" from it all! Sometimes the phone will be ringing and I look up at my Caller ID and it is my "best friend" and I just roll my eyes and sigh! All I want is my time on the Internet! And she just doesn't get it! She calls me all day long! Give me a break! Ok, you win, you got my answer!

Internet can never replace human connections. They are two different entities. No matter how lucrative the call of earnings online, I believe we still need the human touch to make our complete existence as human-beings. I am sad if I am totally disconnected to my best friend because of the lure of internet.
