Most people are affected by the weather, especially sunlight. That's because exposure to the sun affects that amount of melatonin produced by your brain. Melatonin affects mood.

Absolutely, I'm much happier when I wake up and I see the sunshine and a nice bright day. Now is winter and I wake up and look outside and see a dark grey day, I just want to go back to bed until spring.

The weather very much affects my mood. This cold weather for instance, it is making me irritated. I am in a house, with the windows shut up. It is too cold to go outside, too cold to open the windows. There needs to be some fresh air in the house but the weather is not just playing along. The cloudy, rainy days are another type of day that can be frustrating. It just makes me tired. It does not really matter if I had gotten a full night's sleep or not. Something about that weather just saps all of the energy out of me. So weather does affect the mood. I find I am happy and more productive in warmer, sunny weather than I am on the cold and dreary days.

just a little, most people like bright sunny days. I'm usually very busy. sometimes, I don't notice the weather. BTW, I always take an umbrella in my handbag.
