So I heard that I can make money by not shutting up my mouth (or keyboard at least). I just signed up here at myLot, but I am lost already. What will happen to me now? How do I make money? I hope you will be kind enough to answer my question. Thank you very much.

Firstly welcome to myLot. Now it is very easy to make a little money here but much more interesting to correspond with the wide variety and nationalities of people that use this site. The first thing that you must do is read the Guidelines. They are at the bottom of this page. After that there are two other things that you absolutely have to do. 1. Post interesting and relevant discussions and 2. reply to other people's discussions the same way. The more that you post and reply the more you will earn. You have to earn at least $10 per month to reach payout. This is easily achievable and many make double that amount. Explore the site and enjoy yourself. Good luck.

thank you! everyone of you is mentioning about reading the guidelines and i surely will. I know I will enjoy more than the money that the site offers. I'd meet different people all over the world. psychopathetic thats really about it, you just p ost and post and post, make discussions, respond to others discussions , and comment on the responses you get to your discussions. but be wise and read the mylot information as you will need it to keep from breaking my lot rules and thus having your discussion deleted. read the guideline, the rules , the TOS and the questions and answers, this will keep you on the right tract, the get in here and p ost and have fun, enjoy yourself. You will be paid for what you post as long as it doesn't break any mylot rules.Also quality is preferred over quantity here so m,ake all your posts four lines long or longer, flesh out things, do not make sixty oneliners that will not be paid, but 20 six or 8 liners that will be paid for posting.

It's just my second day here and I'm totally enjoying it already. It is great that you people are there to help newbies like me. My suggestion to any newcomer is to start at the very beginning and work you way from there. That way you are fully aware of the guidelines and there is less chance of having a discussion or your posts deleted ;)

no problem psycho, I love helping new mylotters learn the correct way of mylotting- therefore all is not mylotted in vain.
Don't worry about taking in all the do's and don't at once..just feel your way around and if a discussion doesn't seem right..go with your gut and move on to the next.
Good tips to always remember is try to answer everyone that commented on your discussions or posts, as mylot strives for an interactive community. So treat each discussion you encounter as if it were a conversation in real life with a friend. When starting a new discussion be sure to utilize the search bar and search the discussions first so you won't duplicate a discussion that may already be active. If this does happen, no worries; simply post your thoughts on the topic to that discussion instead

I must say that did the trick. I read the links you provided. But I have yet to digest the Dos and Don'ts. They are a number and they can't fit in my head at once. I hope I don't break any rules or get my posts deleted. Thanks again!

The very first thing you should do before you ever post anything is to read the guidelines. That will give you all the information you need to know, and tell you how to earn in here. Once you read those, you will know. In order to earn in here, you need to active and participate in the discussions, and make them quality. the longer you can make your posts the better. Also, it is in your best interest to comment back to the responses you receive, as you only earn for what you do and not what others do. You can't just start a discussion and leave it, and think you will get paid for the responses. You won't, only the ones that respond will get paid for them. It is totally up to you if you want to earn or not, as I have told you how to earn in here and now it is up to you. good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Halloo welcome to mylot.....let me tell you what to do to earn more money:
1) Answer all the response, the more the better
2) Every response must be at least in 3 lines...
3) Use proper English
4) Post something quality...
Then you can recruit friends, then you can earn from their posting.
When you reach 500posts, you can upload photoes, it will help your earning!!!

No, you can post the photoes anytime you want, only that if you haven't reach 500post then they won't pay you. That's all. So if you like to post any photo just post it...only that the earning won't increased presently. Until you reach 500post , then your posting of photos wil be counted/paid.

Gosh, you're saying that I have to reach 500 posts before I can post photos? haha. isn't that a lot? oh well, I'd really have to join discussions. I love photos and I share them whenever possible. Maybe I'd pursue participating in discussions so I can post photos and share them to other myLotters. I have a lot of thoughts to share! thank you so much for answering. See you!

Well, a big welcome to the My Lot community. I guess the big secret is to post and post and post some more! Also, try and create unique discussions but they must not be similar to other discussions already created, that's according to the terms of service. If you do those two things then you will slowly notice your earnings start to increase and that's nice to see on a daily basis. There have been lots of improvements to My Lot and there are other things that you can do to earn money and they are listed at the top on the dropdown menus. Its simple. Post comments on news or discussions, start on discussions very simply post around talk (or type) post pictures and search via the search bar on every page. And the more you do the more money you'll make. And, you'll reach pay out quickly depending on how dicated you are.

I'm in the same boat too, just hoping that this isn't too good to be true. I figure you get paid per post so the idea is to just post as many comments as possible and keep checking your earnings. I'll let you know if I find anything out. Cross your fingers.
