If you have a son or daughter and one they he/she tells you that wants to join the military. Would you be supportive with them, would you be happy? would you be worry? I think if I would be in that situation I would be terrify, what if they go to war and die in the battle field?

Jump up ans down happy...no..Supportive..absolutely.. and proud. I'm going to worry about them from time to time no matter what they choose to do. Joining the military is suh a personal decision for most people, one that requires commitment and sacrifice on their part..I would have to respect that and pray that they were walking on the path they were supposed to. After that I would just let go and let God.

You are right, a decisions like that, when it is for the right reasons, should be well received, because shows the maturity and commitment sense, and compassion and desire to protect others, that should be well seeing and it is really good motive to be very proud.

My parents were in the military. My brother and husband are also in the military. I am a veteran. Yep my children can go in. Of course I would worry just like I do every day for my husband and brother but its their choice.
