What is a good cell/mobile phone brand?

I'm thinking of buying a new cellphone. I've had my Sony Ericsson for a good three years and it served me good, it still does. The thing is I want to upgrade and cannot decide which brand of phone. I want to stick with Sony Ericsson but I'm considering of trying a new brand. I'm leaning towards Samsung for a lot of its good models that are WIFI ready but I've become comfortable with Ericsson. Help!

I have seen your profile and it says that you reside in the Philippines and I would recommend you to get a slightly costlier mobile. I want you to get the Sony Ericsson AINO or the NAITE. But, I would ask you to get an Apple iPhone 3GS. It is really cool!

Thanks, Kar and Lakerfanster... I am actually looking into buying an Aino because I've seen great reviews of it as well.

The Aino is a great phone, It's received some great reviews. I am looking at replacing my Sony Ericsson K800i soon and I am thinking of upgrading to a more expensive Sony Ericsson.

I too use Sony Ericcson and I think they are the best make to have, they have a wide range of really good phones and the menus are helpful and the Camera Quality is usually very good indeed for a Mobile Phone.

I agree, Sony Ericsson really boasts for its good camera quality that's why it's hard for me to consider another cell phone brand. Thanks.

Yes, sometimes Ericsson is quite hard to understand but you'll get the hang of it later. Nokia is also a good brand and I had one years ago. Thanks.

I'm a huge fan of Nokia and a die-hard fan of their communicator because it makes me compose long text messages with ease because of the alphabet keypad and surfing the net is very easy whenever the need arises. I don't change cellphone yearly or every other year because I make sure that by the time I let go of the old one, it should have been fully utilized.

I'm an avid fan of Nokia and a die-hard of their communicator because it allows me to write long text messages and it's easier to surf the net when the need arises. I will not survive a day without it. I don't change yearly. I make sure that by the time I changed it, the unit has been fully used.

You're right, I hear a lot of good reviews about Nokia Communicator. Just like you, I also don't change cell phones yearly until after I've exhausted it completely. Thanks.

Well it depends exactly what you're looking for if you're looking for good up to date phone then you want something like the iPhone it blackberry, however if you're looking for cheaper models, then pick a style you like as well as something that will complete what you want it to do.

Then its better to stick on the same brand you like but buy the most latest one release in the market. Just try it out in your favorite market so that you can really decide or even check out this website www.gsmarena.com.
