I think you are talking about Xoom.. I too feel that the fees is very higher.. But good that there is atleast an option available..If you are going to withdraw your money after you accumulate 100$, why don't you request a check from paypal itself.. I think paypal has suspended the direct bank transfer alone and not check withdrawal..But the minimum balance to withdraw a check is 150$ and the fees is 5$.. But paypal should not have suspended the withdrawal through check option..

you are right..If the charges for requesting a check from paypal and then the check clearance charge were summed, it would come to the same as that of xoom..And by xoom, we get the money directly into our bank account..You are right..

I think its same think bcoz paypal charges $5 and bank also charge for clear your check ... after all charges that amount will be almost same with xoom . .. in that service you can directly get in your bank account .... but both option are good ...

Fine that you are continuing your online works..Withdrawing from paypal is not an issue..But still I hear that many of the payments recieved were reversed back to the sender itself. What if the site admin did not take any effort to resend the payment again through the other option - payment for goods? I have heard cases wherein the payment being reversed back but not resent again. This surely causes mental depression..

@anujain75 Please note that XOOM has stopped the PayPal to bank account withdrawal service in India. If you ask customer care they will say yes they do it, because they only send responses they already exists in their system. But when you complete transaction, they refund whole amount to your PayPal again in 7 days saying they cannot do it.

@smilyn Yes what you said is write. In that case it is a loss to us. But please note that it is not an issue from PayPal. Reserve bank of India has asked them to stop the facility. So personal payments done between 1st Feb to 6th Feb were reserved. After 6th feb, personal payments were disabled for India. But ideally if you are receiving payments for goods or service then you should not send it as "personal payments". So if you were trying to save on small amount that you pay as paypal fees then you are at lost. Free things are not always the best.

I work for sites that payout via AlertPay or any other than PayPal. I requested for a payout from Microworkers via AlertPay as I did not want to get involved with the PayPal issue! Also, I am mylotting a lot as mylot payments are paid without any sorts of trouble!
