Maybe he took advantage of the situation, and pretended to sink but really he swam over to the life boats. Hahahaha that would be funny. Discuss

I heard somewhere that he actually survived and was picked up by sea merchants. And that he had lived a long life somewhere in Buffalo. Not sure if it's true, but maybe just rumours to promote the movie.

If it's not included in the movie for viewers, even as special features on a dvd, then yeah ...

I'm sorry, but he really did die. I wish he could have made it so the two of them could have lived a happy life for a while, until one of them cheated on the other and divorced or something.

Well i expected the same to happen but atlast the story ended unexpected. I never like the lovers to be separated, they should have lived longer happily like other stories.

I would love to see jack live in this movie, but it wouldnt be a great movie if that happened there has to be some tragdy in it. But i love leonardo and hate to see him die in this film it makes me so sad. I cry everytime i watch titanic.

im pretty sorry but i don't believe Jack could ever survive the frigid waters of northern atlantic. as a matter of fact, the movie would not have been romantic if ever Jack had managed to survive. whats the drama if he survived? however i have read a world war 2 soldier who swam many miles for days to get to shore in the not so cold waters of the pacific near japan.
