I sometimes do watch TV especially channels that feature movies. And in TV's, commercial advertisements comes as intervals during the shows.Sometimes it takes just minutes and other times it's even longer.I wonder if you are patient enough to wait for the show to resume or rather change channels for a while and come back when the show is on again. In my case,I find it uncomfortable to keep on jumping from channel to channel so I try to enjoy the ads until the show which I'm interested on resumes. How about you?

Of course, my friend. Though I'm not a great TV viewer, but when I sit down watching TV, I often change channels as there are over 50 channels available on our local cable TV network, if I find any programme uninteresting to me. Sometimes, this happens that I'm watching a very good programme and at the same time I've to hear an important news in another channel. Then I've to jump between these two channels again and again understanding the situation. Have a nice day.

In this day and age of remote control , people tend to channel surf more than before when it was rotary. Yes, i do jump from one channel to the other until i find a show where i can lay my hat on through the night.

I can't stand watching commercials. I love my DVR for this reason. Alot of times if its something I want to watch, I will record it just so I can fast forward through the commercials. They are a good when you are pregnant and have to take a potty break.

I do agree with you mflower. That's why I seldom watch tv too and resort on having movies instead.

I change channels all the time, just to avoid those commercials. It angers me that they have so many commercials. I have DVR so I try to tape all the shows I really like and watch them later, where I can fast forward past the commercials.

Yes, I very often change channels and move from one channel to another. You may take it as my hobby. If there is something very interesting, it may be a movie or anything else, which has a special attraction for me, I stick to it, otherwise I contantly surf the different channels until and unless I myself get tired.

i don't like to change channels usually when i'm watching tv. i make use of the commercial break to do things. like going to the washroom, getting a drink or play with my cats. some times when i change channels, i get distracted and switch back too late. as a result, i'll miss some parts of the tv show. if i change channels, i'll watch the clock so that i can switch back in time. this is especially so for shows that i've been waiting for.

I rarely change channels while watching tv. If I don't like a commercial I will mute it. I am not a channel changer although I used to do it all the time. I guess it was me being impatient, but not so much anymore.

I can't stand commercials! I switch to a different channel as soon as they begin. But the tv stations are tricky because all the good shows pretty much have commercials around the same time, so it doesn't matter if you change the channel. You are still bombarded with commercials. That sucks! But wait! I discovered a neat little device called a DVR. And it allows me to rewind as far as I want so when the commercials come out I can just fast forward and skip them. Awesome! Sure, I have to watch that part of the show again, but no biggie. I might notice something that I didn't see the first time around. CHEERS to the inventor of the DVR!

Not really, whenever I watch television I usually only watch Adult Swim because it's really the only thing that I enjoy watching. I enjoy pretty much every show on that channel and it does a good job of taking up all the tv time I need.

I don't like to chenel surf during a program. I don't see the point. By the time I got back to that chanel chances are I would miss part of the program. So I stay put on one chanel until the program is over. That's just the smart way to do it.

Sometime I change channels when I watching TV, especially if I watching local TV, you know, so many commercial and it's so long, about 5 minutes or more I think, I can't get my satisfaction to watch all that commercial. That,s why I change my channel. But, sometime I'm not change the channels if I watching international/cable TV like HBO or MTV, because It doesn't have any commercial, or if there, the commercial is not boring. Happy MyLotting!

I usually change the channel when a commercial comes on. My ex used to do this and it drove me nuts. Now I do it because sometimes they run the same commercial over and over again. I guess it doesn't bother me now, because I am in control of the remote. I watch a lot of "On Demand" stuff, as there is not as many commercials. Also I have HBO and there aren't commercials on that. So I probably watch that more than the regular channels.

No, even when I am on the internet, I will be jumping through my internet browser tabs. So that's the same as what I do when watching TV. Unless someone is recording a particular channel, else I will be busy flipping through other channels trying to find something interesting to stay hook on while in commercial times.

I don't have many channels to watch, but it's true, sometimes I don't find something good to watch and I change channels constantly. Just leave him in a channel, when my niece wants to see a cartoon. It's so hard to convince her to see something else! Lol!
