We know that english is a foreeign language.before 1947,it was official language of our country.but times has changed.it cannot enjoy the same privilege now. english is an important language of the world.people try to learn it.our foreign policy is based on praceful co existence.so we want to be friendly with the other nation of the world.today we are free.a free country must have its own language.so we should discard english.some people support english.they say that english an important language of world.its literature is very rich.but some people oppose english. in my opinion both the views are one sided.real position that english should go..........

No doubt English is very important in the modern era but one should not be ashamed of our own national language. on the other hand if you are good and know the English Language and support it to be important there is no harm instead its good who does not want to know many languages.

English is the most important language in the world, any fool can tell you this. Lucky for us we were ruled by the british and we are good at picking up languages. The only reason that India is ahead of China and is called the "Back Office of the World", is because we speak english. Today speaking english fluently is more valuable than an engineering degree. In my opinion the more people who speak and learn english in India, the more we will advance as a country.

In 1965 Hindi has been declared the official language of India alongwith it, in terms of the official language bill passed in 1963, English may also continue to be used for all the official purposes. Today, we feel shameful to speak in Hindi.
