If you want to read adventure stuff go for novels by Clive Cussler. Some book names are Trojan Horse, Sahara, Inca Gold. All very good books. If you are interested in medical books, read books by Robin Cook like Toxin, Chromozome etc. You could also read books by Mary Clark Higgins. They are nice suspense books. Jeffery archer rights good books on things that happen in law.

Read The Afghan by Friedrick Forsyth... A very gripping tale, Forsyth seems to be getting better with his abilities. A book worth it's price, I loved reading it! Sacred games by Vikram Chandra is also on my list, for which I haven't found time!! But the critics were going ga-ga over the book, so it has to be good! Salman Rushdie is also excellent! I liked his latest book Shalimar the Clown very much... But I liked Midnight's Children even better! Lord of the Rings is another must read... The greatest work of fiction in English ever!!

Depends on what catches your interest but I would recommend - My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult. Great book!
