Most of cellphone models nowadays has a built-in radio in it. Sometimes I use it to fall asleep, especially those nights that I'm having a hard time sleeping. I prefer to listen to it with the loudspeaker option on, I find it more comfortable than using an earphone. The only downside of cellphone's radio feature is being dependent to earphone, without it, it will not function. But I know that there are already cellphones now that can play radio without an earphone attached to it. I'm planning to have one. How about you, do you use the radio feature of your cellphone?

Yes, that is also why I can't use the built-in radio regularly. It is because I am not comfortable to always bring it's headset. Thank you for your response. Happy myLotting!

Hello markmoney, I don't use the built in radio feature. I am a basic user My cell phone is only to receive and make calls, and also to send text. I don't like to plug in the earphones too and I can't sleep with a sound of music next to me, unless I want to stay awake all night

I do every once in a while. I have a program that actually routes my music to my bluetooth so I don't have to carry around headphones to listen to the music. It makes it a lot easier than having to carry a bunch of accessories around just to use all the features of my phone. Just my phone and my bluetooth.

My cellphone is just a prepaid tracfone and I don't think it has the option to listen to the radio. I think thats pretty cool that some cell phones have the ability to do that. It seems like it would drain the battery down pretty fast though. When I am bored it would be really cool to be able to listen to the radio. I wouldnt like having to use ear phones but if I was in public that would be the right thing to do to not disturb anyone. I love when people have cool ring tones mine is just boring and I dont know how to get any different ones. I cant afford to pay for any but I see sometimes you can download free ones but I dont know how to get them on my phone so I just stick to the boring one that I have.

My cellphone now doesn't have that built-in radio feature so I not able to use that. My other cellphone, old one before this, has the radio and yes, i do use them especially at night time before going to sleep. It just drain the cell battery life faster though.

There are new phones , i dont know which company has manufactured them but i do know and seen advetisement of some mobile phones that have a radio feature and lets you listen to radio without connecting the earphone to it. It is great news for those who usually listens to radio many a times a day. They now dont need to use headphone and they can listen to the radio loud.

I also use cellphone radio in the night times while I go to sleep. I always use earphone because I do not want to disturb other. I put in low volume and listen melody songs. If we listen to music in the night, It will help us to forget problems and sleep well.

Yes,i use built-in radio in my mobile phone very often.I hear to FM radio while travelling and also before i fall asleep. These days i hardly find time to watch movies or songs on television and entertain myself. So built-in radio in my mobile phone is the best option available for me.Ofcourse listening to music with earphones on for a long time is harmful, hence whenever possible i avoid listening with ear phones, and i listen with loudspeakers on.In fact when i went to buy a mobile phone for myself i made a search for one with built-in radio option.

I have radio option in my phone, but I use it very rarely. I am not fond of listenign to music. I listen to it very rarely, when I don't have anything else to do. I listens to radio sometimes when I wait for bus in busstand. I know many people who are very fond of listening to radio and even make calls to those radio stations.

i hardly use my phone's built-in radio. maybe because i prefer listening to my own choice of music through the music player, and the lack of my preferred channels in the fm services provided here. they hardly provide my type of music.

Hi markmoney, my cellphone has a radio on it, thanks for reminding, I almost forgot I have that feature! LOL ;) I rarely use it, because it drains my battery easily, there are a lot of important features to use like messaging. I hate getting low-bat in time when I needed it the most. However, if I want to listen to music, I just use my ipod. ;)
