Hate to break up this party but I am going to being some reality to this discussion. I cannot help to notice that every one just keeps saying the same thing, the Bible is 100% true. I guess if you do not truly read it would might come to the conclusion. If the Bible is 100% true then every part of the Bible must be so. Will what about these scripture, Isaiah 11:12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. This is a famous verse but could only come true if the Earth was flat. How can a round Earth have four corners? Here is another verse Isaiah 13:10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. The moon does not produce any light only reflex light. Here is another verse Isaiah 30:26 Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound. Once again the Moon does not produce light, but the part of this verse you need to pay attention to is the part about the Sun being sevenfold or seven times the light. The Sun is a flaming gas ball, this is how it produces light. To produce 7 times the light the Sun would have to grow 7 times, which would kill everything on Earth. Another one of Isaiah's messed up verses 38:8 Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down. The Earth revolves around the Sun not the other way. For this to have happened the Earth would have had to go into reverse along it's rotation around the Sun, how would that have been possible. Bad thing is I just list problems with the book of Isaiah, who is suppose to be a prophet of the Lord. There are more of these flat earth, earth is the center of the universe, and the moon gives of light verse in the Bible to make it impossible that the Bible could be 100% true.

So why did you ask the question is the Bible true? What you are saying is if you find errors in the Bible just ignore them because you are just not smart enough to understand how a sphere can have 4 corners.

The bible is one of the most controversial book in the world. Let the bible interpret itself. If your reading ancient scriptures or symbols you can not just used your own interpretation. You can not just enter any door if you only used your own understanding. To know the real meaning is like searching for a treasure. Even now this bible has a lot of truth or false that we should truly understand. It is not just written in literal way. Some say it has a code. others say it can not be written by just any ordinary men. A lot of well known men had already tried to prove this bible. I even believe my IO is less to understand this book. But I will go on and understand more of it. So we must not just judge...we must prove ourselves how did it happen. The world we create is the world we live in.

God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all. So when we read the Bible its like we're coming to God who is embodied in HIs word. His word is a lamp unto my feet and the light into my path (psalm 119:105). His word is our daily supply and guide to our daily living.. There was a time in history that the Bible is closed for hundred of years and people did not read it and that age is what they called the dark age.. The age was dark because of the absence of God's word. So, we really need to read the Bible everyday so that our daily living will be full of light!

the Bible is true because it is the word of God. God is the truth therefore His word is also true. For example the prophecy in the old testament and the new testament is being fulfilled one by one... Anyone can read the Bible but not anyone could study the Bible..God is Spirit and the Words which He has spoken unto us is spirit and life. therefore when we come to the word of God we need to contact the Lord..what we have read we pray it back to Him..a person who desires to study the Bible should be regenerated(aside from our human life, we receive the life of God by believing into HIm) first before one could receive enlightenment and supply from his reading..

Yes, everything that is written in the Bible is true. It's inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is written to be shared. It's God's way of communicating to his children. Just keep on reading and try to mediatate and ask for God's guidance while reading it so that you will understand and you will be enlightened.

Yeah. All the contents written in the bible are true. It is my guidance and my path of my everyday living and keep the most of attaining salvation comes judgment day. Bible is not an ordinary book, it's a book full of secrets and it's mysterious which we can't define by our own understandings because only those messengers of God can interpret it.

ok, I see archeologist used bible. wisdom and understanding are worth to find in this book. And the writer tells the reader to seek wisdom as a hidden treasure. Those who are obedient to follow what he had read or hear from this will find something...I think it is a secret and mystery to those who don't mind of this kind of book.
