decreased earnings...

I do not know the procedure for rating. But it may depend upon how many respon to your posting and comment

maybe the original post where you put your comments got deleted and so you comment deleted too and once one of your post deleted of course they will deduct it from your earnings. sometimes your post is too short coz they didnt count it.

usually this happened when your discussion or your response to a discussion is being deleted because it violates mylot rules... other than that, there shouldn't be any other reason why your earnings should decrease... if you want to know the full explanation, why don't you try to contact the admin and ask them??? good luck... take care and have a nice day...

Hi lifeafterdeath, I have my comment too on the first response of this post. Well, had admin notified you for a deleted discussion where your response were deleted too? I guess there was none because you haven't indicated it. Let me share my views, I guess further, if am not out of this, that the admin had set a criteria for our each post and each response/comment. Mylot had just recently improved its features, and I think that the 'criteria' as well is changed/improved/modified. If I am not mistaken, I never heard of a deleted discussions 3 years ago... just now when I came back here... I was shocked at first, many of my discussions were deleted too. From that, admin today is running an eye on every thing we do in here. Some may slipped out, but admin would make a second look at it. Though Alice had informed us that the improvement brought in here is connected directly to earnings (I am not sure if it's that a right statement) or something like that, provided us to do more effort... to love mylot more, to feel your mylot your own home.... I hope I have given some little help dear. (Upon wrting this, I am now opening my mind to all who may give some comments on this). God bless you!

It very well be nothing that you did wrong. If someone violates the rules in response to a discussion, even though every one else was not, it can still get deleted and have a negative impact on every one. It kind of stinks, but it's all for the greater good. Also keep in mind that anything you do today, won't be credited until tomorrow.

read the faqs that will explain you why it happened i had the same thing,its because some of your review would have been deleted for some cause,so the money you got for that would have reversed.nothing serious in that its a general thing only so need not worry and one more thing read the mails from mylot and act seriouly to their instructions.happy mylotting.

You may be going by the rules when you create your discussions. However, you need to be sure the discussions you respond to are also going by the rules. A decrease in earnings usually means one of your discussions...OR...a discussion you responded to has been deleted. Technically, this discussion could very well be deleted as one of the rules is if you have a problem with myLot, you take it up with myLot NOT with the members. So, everybody who is responding to your discussion is not only trying to help you, but are also taking a chance of losing some earnings. Loss of earning happens to ALL of us, but happens more frequently to new members who haven't learned all the rules & don't understand the need to be aware of the rules is just as great in responding to a discussion as it is to creating discussions. So, my suggestion to you would be that as you read any discussion you are thinking of responding to, that you keep in mind whether they are adhering to the rules before you respond. If not, skip that one & go on to the next!!!

I don't know what happened to your account. I never experienced that before. For what I know, once your posts had been credited into your earnings it will no longer be deducted if in case of violations. Mylot checks the posts before giving credits to it so I thought it could be impossible to decrease your earnings if in case you have violated. Do you have tasks? I think you can transfer some of your earnign to your tasks fund, i'm not sure, just check it or report it to alice.

It happens when your post is deleted. That happens even if you abide by the rules but the others in the discussion don't. That is the most common reason for earnings getting decreased. There might be other reasons too but I am not aware of it. Just today I observed that my earning went up by 2 cents. So I guess you too will have days when your earnings go up by 2 cents and if you take a note of past earnings there you can see for which day the earnings are added or deducted, of course if you remember for which day you had earned how much! Don't worry you will have days when your earnings increase too! So just have fun and participate in discussions. All things will be fine at the end of the day or month! Happy Mylotting!
