Do your bones crack when you stretch?

I have osteoarthritis, but I do go walking everyday. I notice in the mornings that my bones tend to crack when I stretch, too. Is that a normal process of aging? They didn't use to, but I suppose I need more calcium or over the counter vitamins or something. Do your bones crack when you stretch in the morning?

actually, its nitrogen bubbles that have settled in your joints and ligaments popping - yes, lots of people have it happen as they age also, if you are out of alignment in your back or other areas, they will move slightly back into place and "pop" that bubble sometimes it can be worked out, but I don't know how
