Should I ditch the whole day of school to go see the movie Alice in Wonderland?

Well that movie is going to come out on the day that I have school and it's really looks good because it has Johnny depth in it. My friends have invited me to ditch the day of school and go with them. Still I don't know if I should or shouldn't I mean it's not like I'm ever going to get a chance like this again right. I really don't know what to do I'm really confused. My other friend though says that I should go to school because she does not want to be left alone, but she does have other friends their too it's just that she doesn't like them very much. Oh what to do. What would you do if you were in my position????

I have found that when an anticipated movie comes out, most go to it's premiere. In other words, they go to the first showing in their area which is usually in the evening when most schools are not in session. It's actually quite a good time even though you may be a little tired the next day, but that is what being young affords you. You not only get to see the movie, but you get to share in the excitement of a large crowd's excitement that surrounds the anticipated event. Think about why you are having a hard time making this decision. Is it because you don't want to offend someone or because someone may not include you in a particular group if you decline their invite. The whole reason for going is to enjoy the movie. It seems if you do it to please others instead of yourself, it will ruin the fun of the movie event. In the meantime, if you don't have peace about missing school for whatever reason, I would decline graciously and enjoy the day with the friend who remains in school. Why set a priority like this that may come up again and again in the future.

P.S. Johnny Depp has never disappointed me in any of his performances, but I think you would really enjoy how he approaches this new role if you go without bothersome thoughts running through your mind while you are watching it.

Only ditch if u r comfortable with breaking the rules. Also , ditch if u can't resist peer pressure :)I wouldn't ditch school for this movie though. Alice in wonderland? Really? Johnny wouldn't be able to save this movie, although he is a good actor. Pirates of the Caribbean FTW :0

Oh well I have never actually ditched a whole day which is a bit frightening to me. I just have ditched classes before and that's about it. The peer pressure I can take that really doesn't worry me right there. It's because he always plays his roles so good which makes him an excellent actor. Plus hes very good looking too except in the movie he looks a bit scary, but still who knows you know.

I would still go and see the movie. I did this before and I felt guilty for missing my classes but after watching the movie I was okay. If you missed some classes you can ask some of your classmates about the lesson you missed and if there's a homework then you can still do it. And if you missed some quizzes then you can ask the teacher for some special examination. Dont worry and enjoy yurself. Its not like you'll be doing this forever.
