Simon Said A Girl Will Win Idol This Year True or False?

Hi everyone. I know tonight the guys go up but after hearing the girls last night I didn't care for any of them. I know that nerves play into a most of them pick songs that don't fit. Some were screaming more than singing. For now I would have to say a guy. I hope the girls do a lot better next week now that they got the nerves of the first live show over with. And hopefully they will pick better songs.

I honestly havent been paying much attention to this years idol at so I really have no clue. I mught get heat for saying this but in some ways I think Idol is fixed on who they choose to win. What I mean by that is that I dont think it is 100 percent the viewers choice of who becomes the winner.
I guess maybe he said a girl because alot of guys have been winning it recently and he would like to see a female take the gold this time.

Well maybe its not so much fixed but I do think that maybe the judges do have some influence on them. I think that Simon already has someone picked out for who he wants to win who is obviously a female and thats why he said or predicted that a woman would win this year because she is his favourite at the moment. Who knows by the end of the show he could have his eyes on someone else though.

I won't say it's fixed I have watched it since the beginning but the judges do let you know who they want to win. They wanted Adam Lambert but the viewers picked Kris Allen who was better. That is about as close as the show comes to being fixed. At times I get annoyed when the judges are really pulling for one person. They are supposed to be impartial I wish they would hide it a little better. It makes me feel bad for the others whether I like them or not they all deserved the right to be there. Yes the guys have a lead on the girls.

I'm not sure, because if you had asked me last year who was better, the girls or the boys I would have said a girl was gonna win. At the beginning, none of the guys truly truly impressed me. I would have said Alexis and Allison would have been part of the final three. As we all saw, the final two were the guys. Thank goodness I didn't put money on that. This season, I'm just gonna wait until the final 12 to really say if its gonna be a girl or a guy who is gonna win this year. By then I think the nerves will be shakened off and the artists will be more comfortable with their own styles.

I know sometimes people stand out right away like Chris Daughtry and Michael Johns. I liked the guys better last year as well. I didn't get hooked on Kris Allen until he did She Works Hard For The Money. I became of fan of his cause each week he was always making the songs his own. Yeah I know everyone got caught up in Adam Lambert but I was never a fan and very happy Kris won. You are right about the nerves and I know after a few weeks someone will start to shine. I like Big Mike the one whose wife had the baby when he was in Hollywood week. I hope he does well tonight.

I agree I always did prefer male singers anyway. I am female and yes I like some female singers but in this category I gotta say guys are better singers than girls. I hope the guys do well tonight.
