Amongst all his broken promises I suppose maybe this one is small potatoes, but I'm still posting it for his faithful to see. He has yet again awarded a no-bid contract to a big donor to the democratic party. This one went to a failing company to work on producing more of the anthrax vaccine. I know anthrax was a concern after 9-11, but do you really think it's such a big deal now that we need to ignore the bidding process and just give the contract to whomever donates/gives bribes to the most democrats? http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/02/25/m-anthrax-vaccine-contract-goes-firm-close-dem-party-ties/

There is no evidence on the congress, government web page on this. No bid contracts were out lawed a few months ago unless there were no other companies that supplied that product and then the contract had to be signed off by the director of that department as "no other way" to get that product.

Well this was handled by the president, not congress. Here, take a look at the FBO government page. https://www.fbo.gov/index?s=opportunity&mode=form&id=84ccfb33ed5f43af62a1b47d4f35fa5d&tab=core&_cview=0 As I"m sure you know, there is more than one company capable of providing the vaccine. You should also know that Obama has no problems with breaking laws that he himself supported.

I do not know why no one else nid on this but on further research Pharma Athena donated about two to one to the republican acmpaign of John McCaign and then doubled down when it looked like Obama would win. If you track thier donations back through the last few years they have been very generous with thier donations paticularly hen the big pharma give away happended a few years back. Actually I donated more to a campaing then they donated to Obama.

None of that changes the fact that they got a no-bid contract, something Obama PROMISED he would end and has now done twice.

This is merely the latest in a long line of payoffs by this administration for campaign contributions. The political favors just never cease with this, the most corrupt administration in our history.

Every time I hear of one of these, in my state of federally, I think of the book Ayn Rand wrote "Atlas Shrugged" and think Atlas has been shrugging an awful lot lately (that's when work gets doled out according to favor, and skill goes out the door, and the outcome in Atlas Shrugged wasn't all that great on the economy of the day it was set in..
