hi. iam getting sick of people asking me 'how many kids i have'? just because iam overweight , it doesn't mean that iam old. i can't find out people's age by just looking at their face. what about you? do you look younger or older than your actual age?

Believe it or not it really depends on whether I am wearing my glasses or not. I know a strange thing but rather true. With my glasses on, I pretty much look my age. Perhaps a little bit younger. There is just something about the glasses that make me look different and younger. I really cannot explain it, it is rather strange. However, without the glasses, I seem to age rather badly. I mean take the glasses off and I just seem to add something like about five to ten years in my life. Odd as I said but true. Thankfully, I very rarely do not wear my glasses, given the fact that I kind of need them to see. So people see me as about the same age, as opposed to being older looking.

I look my age. Well, this is what I feel. Some years back people used to tell me that I look younger tan my years. But I must now check once again from a random external observer.

I'm 57, and people tell me I don't look any older than about 40, which is nice. I have no grey hair, and I take care of my skin and have no wrinkles, so that all helps. I've also lost weight recently. To be honest, though, I think it's more important to act young than to look young. I always smile, and take an interest in what's going on around me. I'm 57, going on 21.

First of all I would like to correct you on something...when people ask you if you have kids doesn't mean you look old because in my opinion, a lot of young people get pregnant and may have kids so don't get too upset when they see you that way. In my case, people see me either older or younger than my age...it has always been 2 sides of the coin for me. In the younger side, people may see me younger than my age because of my petite height...yes, i'm pretty short, and when I cut my hair short it adds up to the youthful look. On the older side, I may look pretty old because i'm also overweight. Some people may also mistaken me older than my age when I put on heavy eye make-up and when I dress pretty dark colored blouses and pants.

I look younger than my age. I think it's sometimes depressing because people around you don't take you seriously. I can't even get my driver's license without people asking my age. They say that I'm too young to get a license, but the truth is I'm quite old already. On the brighter side, I think I won't age fast. At least that's good

I also really can't judge age by looks and appearance.. I have made hillarious mistakes while trying to be such a judge. My looks are that of a very young man. I am 27 and I read astonishment on peoples' faces, when I say that I am 27... Many of them think, I am 20 or 23... I think, one should exercise regularly to look younger... happy lotting!!!

I look about my age, but I take very good care of my body and skin. I use to get carded, but nowadays I do not. However, I take care to moisturize everyday, drink plenty of water, eat healthy, and exercise daily. I am about thirty-six, so I think I look pretty good for my age bracket. I know some people that gray earlier than others, so part of me thinks that appearances aren't always accurate. For example, just look at the models on tv, for some of them are older than they look.

One should look his/her age only, neither more nor less, this can be made effective by controlling the weight, for me i certainly look my age... Thanks for sharing. Welcome always. Cheers. Professor

I've been getting a little self-conscious these days. I'm turning 32 and have two kids-and you wouldn't believe how many people suppose that I'm 40 or so. I used to look much younger (I'd get carded for everything) but something's sure changed. I don't mind aging but I'd like others to think I'm just a little younger instead of older or at least lie!
