Hello myLotters! I need some help here.. I'm not an expert of cameras and because of that I need some help from the experts out there. I know someone out there can help me. I loves to take photographs especially of the nature. I'm using a Canon digital camera that was bought for me 2 years ago by my uncle. The model of the camera is Canon PowerShot A470. It was on a very fine day that the problem started. Ever since that day, whenever I take a picture, some lines will appear on the picture. When I take picture outdoor, the picture will become plain white. I really need to solve this problem so that I can take pictures normally again. So,somebody out there who knows how to solve this problem please help me.

That is a pretty tough question to answer with the description you provide. Did something happen to the camera on that very fine day? Does it only happen outdoors, or is it any picture? Do you have a setting changed on it that would create your pictures to be overexposed? I would start there. It could be a problem with your camera's sensor chip, and the only remedy would be to buy a new one.

As far as I remembered, nothing happen to that camera on that day. It happen on every single picture I take. I don't remember changing its setting but I always change its ISO depending on what kind of picture I would take.
