After Haiti, the world heard another deadly earthquake hit Japan that Tsunami warning in that country increased, but recently, another earthquake ravaged Chile with a horrifying 8.8 magnitude!which I guessed the most alarming earthquake so far, Haiti was only 7.8 intensity. Many feared Tsunami will hit the pacific. This is terrible and personally I am afraid too because the place I currently lived now, oftentimes is shook by earthquake though not as alarming as what happening in other parts of the world. What do you think is the main reason to this disaster? Are we being punished? are you alarmed with this turn of events?or just shrugged it off as natural disaster?what do you think?

Maybe its a mean way of telling and reminding everyone that nothing is permanent in this world.

I am also terrified by the calamities that are happening in some areas of the world. I sometimes think that the movie 2012 is true. I am scared if it will happen and I am hoping that it won't. I just received a lot of text messages from my friends this evening about the tsunami alert here in our country including our city. I am so afraid about it so I am praying that this is not true.

I also received forwarded messages about the Tsunami alert in our country, I was so alarmed because our province is directly facing the pacific ocean and our folks there evacuated as early as 6:00 in the morning to a higher ground. Thanks God it did not actually occur.

Well I am as well concerned as I lived in the Pacific part of the world and we are supposed to be hit by big waves within 21 hours. I really do not know why these earthquakes keep coming on. Last year we had China that was badly hit. But since it was inland no Tsunami was generated from that quake. But in Chile it was coastal so I guess Tsunami is possible. Let us hope and pray that where ever we are we would not be hit badly by these waves.

My hometown is part of the province of Surigao del sur, one of Philippines' coastal provinces, literally we are facing the mighty Pacific Ocean. Though I am presently residing here in Davao City, very far from the Pacific Ocean, I was increasingly tense yesterday because my family still lived in the province. Thank God Tsunami did not take effect after the estimate time of Phivolcs. God is so good all the time.

The place I currently lived is frequently experiencing minor earthquakes that we feared this will result to major shaking. I always think, the earth is slightly moving or sinking. There's nothing we can do about this except praying.
