No, this is an evil doctrine; a system that led me to be punished or rewarded for actions taken by some previous version of myself could only be the creation of a malevolent being, certainly not of God.
Since, that which makes me who I am is in part the sum of my experiences and since consciousness has never been shown to exist of a former life, that supposed former life is in no way me. Therefore, in no way do I merit or deserve reward of punishment for the actions of that life which in no sense was me.

How can you prove that reincarnation is an devil doctrine? I respect your opinion but i want to know why did you say that reincarnation is from evil.

I explained why it is an evil doctrine in my post but if you want another reason I will give it to you.
There are over 40 million people in India living in near slavery because of the caste into which they are born. The rich and powerful use the doctrines of reincarnation and karma to justify their oppression of the weak and poor.

I do not believe in it. We are born once to die and after that comes the judgment. If we were reincarnated, the rule to be fruitful and multiply would not have been in effect since we could just switch from body to body. It is also a cop out, since by believing in reincarnation, one can believe that they do not need to improve themselves in this life, since the next life would be better.

You are welcome. I sort of believe we are mainly responsible for our own actions, although in many cases we might not have done what we did if given another choice. That is also why I am for second opinions, giving people choices and the ability to make that choice after telling them what might happen and also making sure that they are financially able to make the right choice and have a support system behind them.
So it is in our lifetime, but we cannot think that we can take it easy and assume that in another life someone else will fix it up. Besides is not reincarnation thinking that you are the reincarnation of Queen Elizabeth the First or Joan of Arc? What if you were the reincarnation of Jezebel? Scary thought to think that someone in the present has to make up for all the evil that woman did.

Yes I believe in reincarnation. I believe that we will continue to be reincarnated on to this planet until our soul becomes evolved enough to move on to the next plane and then the next plane after that and so on and so forth. I read a book that theorized that birth marks on our bodies are the marks of scars from past lives and I thought that could be a pretty strong possibility.
I think that reincarnation is very possible and there's a lot of good information out there to prove that it exists but at the same time I'm sure there's research that proves that it some what doesn't exist. We'll only know once we die though I guess.

I just don't have any idea if its really true or not,but i have read a lot of stories about "Reincarnation" wonder if anybody has proof to show and if its real,i just don't know if i will agree being reincarnated as i'm afraid i might rebirth in a body which is not fit for me! Lol.(kidding friend).

I have heard a lot of stories about people being reincarnated but I do not beleive it coz I have not seen it for myself and would surely beleive it if someone from my close family did vouch for it.

No, I don't believe in reincarnation. God is my source for everything, and the Bible is all the proof I need.
