OMG, i hate fleas. My puppy never had fleas but he got ticks when i got him. A few baths using anti-tick and flea shampoo did the trick. And about the fleas on your room, do some clean up and put on some insect repellent spray or lotion so that they wont bite you. Spray them with insecticides as well so that they will go away fast. Give your dog baths using anti-flea and tick shampoo for every other 2 days until they are totally gone. Once they are all gone and your dog is flea/tick free then you can give him bath once a week.

Fleas biting you? Our dogs had not had fleas before, but they had a lot of ticks, which I think is more common (though I'm not sure about that). And when they got infested we had like a tick invasion all over the house! You could see a tick crawling in every part of the house, sometimes even on the bed! It was really gross and scary I got paranoid. They didn't bite us fortunately. To keep the fleas from biting you, the best solution is to totally eliminate these pests. Treat them before their population grows and they kill your pets. Use anti-flea soap or shampoo. There are also anti-flea capsules available for your dog to take.

We got a powdered insectdicide and shook it all over the furniture and floors, make sure you get one safe for humans, I tried to fight the fleas another way and couldn't get anywhere. Make sure you treat your dog for fleas each month so you don't reinfect your home. Good Luck
