I love the movie 2012 because of the story and effects. After that there is question left in my mind if it is a prediction of the end of the world or just an ordinary fiction. When the Haiti and Chile earthquakes happened, I started to scream.Give me your opinion?

Why would earthquakes happening in earthquake prone areas be something unusual? And come on, 2012? Really? I am astounded at how many people actually believe all this 2012 nonsense. The Mayan calender doesn't predict anything and it doesn't "end" There is no scientific basis for any of the disasters people are predicting for that year....it's utterly rediculous psudeo-science.

Those people who believe that the end of the world will be in 2012, sadly, have been influenced with that movie a lot. Although some of the incidents in that movie were somewhat similar to the ones in the Bible, that film is still a fiction. When I was in Japan, I experienced a lot of earthquakes because there are lots of fault-lines there, that's why Japanese built 'anti-shock' devices for their buildings and houses, but people there do not believe that the next day or month or year will be the 'end of the world'.
