How much do you tip the pizza delivery guy?

So, if you make an order from Papa John's or Domino, and the pizza delivery guy deliver the pizza to your door step, besides the actual price for the pizza, how much do you usually tip the pizza guy? Yesterday, My family ordered a pizza, and I open the door, and tip the guy around 10% of the actual cost of my pizza. $4, do you think that is a fair tip? My sister told me not be too cheap, the delivery guy got here earlier than we expected, and his attitude seems nice too. She told me at least around %15. So, I just wonder what is the fair rate to tip a pizza delivery guy according to you?

My husband and I like to give tips but it also depends on the services rendered by the delivery guy. If he is on time then we give him more tips but if was late because he had trouble looking for our house then I still give him some tips. If the delivery guy seems to show that he doesnt like being there and what he's doing then he doesnt deserve a tip. We always see to it that he deserves the tip so he will value it improve his services so he can earn more from tips.

I don't tip a precent. I tip a gallon of gas worth. So if gas is around 3 bucks a gallon thats what they get. if its 4 bucks a gallon then thats what they get. a few weeks ago i ordered pizza my totaly due was around 22 bucks. i gave him the 22 plus 3.50 for a tip.

I usually tip a flat $5. My general order cost about $20. I live very close to the restaurant and feel it is a nice tip. When the weather is bad I tip more, when service is very bad I do not tip at all.

That one is really a fair tip...Last time I paid around 6% to the pizza delivery boy. He was quiet happy with it.In my place,the fair rate to tip a pizza delivery boy is around 8 to 10% and I paid quiet less..

I think that's a fair tip. I usually tip at least 10% myself. But also keep in mind delivery time and accuracy as well as friendliness of the place your ordering from.

I normally tip the pizza guy the change i get or if that's too much i give him a dollar or two.
