Ctrl+F would help you to find the boxes atleast in this long page---then how about to keep track of those comments at different boxes----if four to five people are online at the some time and good mood too

---it would more of a mess to attend their respective boxes---and refreshing each time---i hate to do it coz it takes atleast a minute or so for the entire page to be loaded

You do have a point. Even with a fast connection it'd be refreshing and refreshing such a long page. I don't think Mylot took that into consideration, or maybe they did.... I'd suggest a collapse system... Let me explain, what I mean is a way to collapse the comments down so after commenting on one set of comments, you collapse said set and then go on to the next... The problem would be that after a refresh the collapsed state would reset as well and there we are back with so many comments...

may be they must have implemented this on a experimental basis---whatever it might be this makes things worser i guess---20 in each page is good to have ---i still prefer 10 though it was convinient

wow sunnycool now I understand what was going on, I was commenting and commenting and commenting, came back after dinner and on this page I thought I had finished was a whole row of responses yet to be commented on and here I thought oh my must have goofed and mylot admins deleted them but no they made this change just while I was at dinner he he. I thought I was losing my marbles. I mean like I was working and working and there were more and more, and now I understand what happened.I have to laugh now. but whew I did finally get all thirty responses commented on. liked the old way better really.

I'm not sure I'm settled on it either. Maybe 20 would be better? After all, so many commenting back and forth goes on, so 30 responses could turn out and make the page look more like their are 50 per page... Ps. I've been meaning to compliment you on your fractals! I believe that's what the images like your leaves are called.

For a moment i was shocked to come accross one page in my friends discussion which contained 22 responses in one page later i came accross the same in my discussions. I do feel that previous format was good they can atleast reduce the boxes to 20 as Somecowgirl said---it does makes things easier compared to 30

I just wanted a feel of it for myself and so I went to Hatley's page and there large as life I see 30 responses with loads of comments all packed on one page. I will also say that now Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow!!!!

Hahaha it's a long way back to te top of the page after reading all the responses and having to find the 'respond to this discussion' button

But it is fun reading all the responses without having to change pages. Many Lotters like to be on the first page and don't respond when it's funn so maybe this will mena they will respond on more discussions? You have a new fan Sunny? I see up there that you were already suggesting that she went to bed. You don't waste time do you?

It becomes much difficult when it gets 30 responses you gotto use your flood lights then ---it would freak me out for sure coz i really hate to read on huge boxes so this might limit me from barging into your boxes

Bro, I think this change might be good for those with a slower internet connection, but for those with a super fast one, will find this a bit of a waste of time.. I still have to see how things go first before deciding it's good or bad. It might help for those I've mentioned..

I did not witness this change as I do not get so many responses but what is the problem if there are 10 or 30 on one page. Yes, if there are counter comments which themselves run into pages then there is a problem but this situation is not that frequent.

Yes, was a bit surprise to see my responses go beyond the normal 10 for the first page. But I like the new changes as it saves time hopping from one page to the other and it won't pile up to many pages of responses in our discussion box. We got to see more of other responses in one page.

I too noticed the change... My schedule was just to hectic I was not able to rush my response... And I like this... why? Because it would usually load once if your responses were 1-30, then twice if 30-above... easy to locate even I have to scroll a long way down/way up... LOL

I think they put it back the way they was because of the problems people were having with seeing their responses. Maybe we'll see it again when the bug is fixed.

hi there sunny cool, just found out about it when you post this discussion, I see there is no next page anymore and will stock up to 30 boxes in a page, hmmm anyhow I am comfortable. I did not notice the change because I am reading the responses and I am still on the 9th box

This is much better one 30 box in a page...The challenge could be that you will find hard time to check the response again, because before we used to check what page and can easily scroll down and find the response.. have a great day and happy mylotting..

of admins here mylot will improve more and better,, Just a suggestion can they make a feature wherein we can hide boxes or some responses, just like in emails..

hi there sunny cool, looking at your response I experience what you are trying to say, agree for those who have few response it will be an advantage, but for those who has a lot of response like you discussin now will not an advantage, It takes time looking for your reponse really.. Hello, Sunny. No I didn't notice the change, but it solves a mystery for me. I noticed on Saturday that I couldn't link through to the discussions from my inbox - I had to find them through the 'friends started' tab, which was a bit time consuming, as very often several people drop by my box. It should make things easier, I would think, and may encourage more responses if people haven't got to wade through several pages. More people should read the responses as well.

It might make things easier for the responders but it would be a tough job to locate people who keep on barging and jumping from one box to another

Imagine their facial expressions----when they open a discussion to find thirty boxes in a single page

yeah and i was wondering why was the 31st response in the second page! and i went back to the first page to see it was quite long, it could make things a little inconvenient for me or for some of us too i don't know but i was better off the more number of pages coz it was easier to interact, it was like more space for responses but now i have to concentrate a little more and it makes it look a little crowded too.

Hi Sunny, I checked it before responding on here and to my surprise YES...30 in a box even if it has lots of exchanges in responses and lengthy discssions it's 30. i am amazed. no need for me to check on the next page if the discussions has lots of responses...yes. i love it

Hi Sunny, I noticed it, and said to myself wow! That is great. Most of the friends I respond to come within those numbers. Likewise, I dont get many people who go to third, leave alone fourth page in my discussion. (Thankfully, I dont come up with interesting discussions like you, Lamb, or Diana :)). So it is good for me, and many others who get only limited number of people visiting their discussions. :)
