There's no Obama bump for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. A poll conducted for the Las Vegas Review-Journal showed President Obama's visit to Nevada two weeks ago had a negligible effect on Reid's poll numbers. Though the president spent time praising Reid effusively for his leadership, 75 percent of those surveyed said the visit would not affect how they vote. Of those who might be swayed, more respondents said they'd be more inclined to vote against Reid than for him. Seventeen percent said the visit made them less likely to vote for Reid, while just 7 percent said the visit made them more likely to vote for him. The Mason-Dixon poll of 625 likely state voters, conducted Monday through Wednesday, had a margin of error of 4 percentage points. LMAO when will they learn? If I were a Democrat and if I were running for office or re-election, I would want him as far away from me as possible!

Our Senators in NM are "safe" this year, but our Democratic Congressmen should be and are running scared. I've had more phone calls from my Representative (Harry Teague (D)) in the past month than in the past year. The polls show he's losing to the Republican candidate (Steve Pearce (R)). If I were him, I'd make sure Obama doesn't visit...

The news was talking about how a lot of the dems up for re-election DO NOT want Obama to come campaign for them. They want him stay out of it. Looks like he is getting the Bush treatment already. No one wanted Bush on "their" side in the last couple of elections...now they don't want Obama in on "their" side. I am shocked....is this like record time for a president to become political poison?

So far every candidate that Obama has campaigned for has lost, it cannot just be a fluke. Obama has become Bush at the end of his reign. Remember how no one want Bush to campaign for them in 08, well this is starting to turn into the same. Obama might still be popular personally but that does not convert into workable popularity. I heard a sound bit from a reporter asking question to people at the Coakley rally up in Taxachusetts. The reporter asked why were some of the people at the rally why they were at the rally, and the answer he got was to see Obama.

I think this will happen more and more as all the shenanigans of the dem party come back around to bite them in the rear. After the Scott Brown win, you'd think Obama would get a clue and stay away from campaigning.
