What did everyone think of the movie Shutter Island? I saw the movie last night. It was a good movie, but I didn't like the ending. What do you think?

I thought it was an excellent plot! I would really like to watch it again now that I have an entirely different viewpoint!

Thank you for your comment. I think I may watch it again also. I think I may like it even better the second time. I wonder if I'll notice things or clues in the movie that I didn't notice the first time.

I've watched it twice, and it was just as good the second time I think. I was afraid knowing the end would make it not as exciting, but the movies just built great.

OMG! I really want to watch this movie but I think it's not yet shown in our country. I heard that there are many interpretations of the ending. I'm not quite sure but I really want to watch it. I really like it when Leo DeCaprio has these kinds of mature roles. It suits him really :)

I am planning to catch this movie in theaters because I love Martin Sorcese and Leonardo DiCaprio, I think Shutter Island is worth of my time. As of this time I cannot give any comments since I haven't watch this film, but you gave me an idea to read the review first before going to the theater, so that I won't expect anything.

What i can say? It's Scorsese's film , it's pretty good film and Leonardo Dicaprio is really good actor, this horror film is wow, u never expect what happens in this film. I relally love it. One of the best of this year .

You didn't like what the actual story was revealed to be in the last 10 minutes of the movie, or you didn't enjoy the decision Leonardo Dicaprio's character makes at the last one minute of the film? Personally, I was super relieved at the ending, because I was shocked that Scorsese would make a cheesy bad guys running the asylum flick and loved how it came out.

I loved the movie but the change near the end or the truth was surprising. Although the movie really makes you think it sticks with you.
