hello indian mylot users! have you gone through the paypal blog of 1st march of the same title as the title of this discussion? you should go through that blog. they have provided several purpose codes under the new regulations. but it's hard to understand as i've never withdrawn money from paypal to my bank account. i also don't understand which purpose code to use. if anyone of you understand, can you please help us out? also please share your thoughts about the new regulations.

I have doubts on it. I dont think we can use these codes yet. It specifies only a couple of categories. It has not mentioned that other categories can come under any of the ones that are mentioned. when you say it is blogging, what we are now is not a full fledged blog writing. this is a discussion forum kind. may be if mylot repositions itself as a pure blog, and i dont think that will happen just for the sake of Indians alone. its a difficult situation here. the other alternative is while making payments mylot has to mention that the payments are for blogging works. that is a workable idea.

hope there will be a clearer solution to this, or someone will come up with the right code. thanks a lot for your response!

may be paypal itself can solve this by including more catergories and assigning fresh codes to them.
