Its El Nino so glad it rained here in Cebu

hello dorothy, yeah, it also rains here (well i am from cebu as well) it actually surprise me to hear the sound of the rain falling in our roof....knowing that it should be summer already and to think that the rest of the country is experiencing el niño... i find it as a blessing which i also wish that other places in our country should experience. actually, when i am just inside the house, i don't really feel the summer heat/ el niño...coz its still cold in our room even if its already 10 am you can still sleep comfortably with blanket on even without fan/aircon. maybe the big trees near our house do help a lot in giving us colder/fresher environment... good day!

oh, i wish it could rain up here in the cordilleras, we had a shower a couple of days ago but i think it poured only for an hour. they said that it's because of the cloud seeding, but i think it's not enough. our rivers here are slowly drying up, even the dams are feared to dry up! where are the rain dancers? RAIN! RAIN! RAIN!

wow i wish it willrain here too. the other day there were no electricity and it was really irritating. i hope we can have rain too, but i guess the rain is needed more at the province for the plants and trees need it badly. i just hope t here wont be any blackout anymore. kid can really be irritated by no lights and nothing to do.

hopefully, rain will continue. but unfortunately, rain dropped yesterday wasn't that enough to even wet the place, at least here in my location. and today, sun shines again at its peak, to the highest level of heat that makes us feel tired, and headache, etc. it seems that we will enjoy beach today, again.

hi! i really thank God last night because it also rain here in Davao City. i think for more than a month now since there's no rain and a lot of farmers were already affected by this el niño phenomenon. i hope more rains will come, although PAG ASA said we should not expect rain until May of this year. but i know, prayers will work.

Today March 12, 2010 , Here in Manila got rained in the afternoon. the rain bec of the cloudseeding that was a week ago or 2 days ago. Thqank God , we are now experiencing rain.God really good to us , He will help in this el nino.

I'm glad you got rain. Hope you get as much as you need. I think it's funny that an El Nino for you guys is a dry spell and over here, what we call an El Nino means lots of rain!

Well, I live in a different part of the world than you do, but in the past year we've experienced more rain and snow than we can really deal with. It got me to wondering if because of the fact that there was so much wet percipitation last year will this year be dry? I obviously don't have the answer to that question yet, but I wish that everyone would have the amount of water falling from the sky that they need to keep their lives comfortable, nothing is worse than going through a severe drought.

wow nice to hear that, coz in manila specially in our area we didnt see any rain yet. so funny coz before during rainy days i always pray that the rain will stop coz its always raining everyday and we cant go out. and so now, i am praying to rain even just for one day coz its very hot here.

Hi Dorothy, Let's thank the almighty for the wonderful blessing --for showering your place with rain. i hope we will be able to manage wisely what's happening now as it relates to "el nino". i know in our own simple and little ways we can contribute to responding on this problem!

It is so hot here in Metro Manila. The heat is just crazy. I need to drink cold water from time to time. THe heat also makes my eyes and head hurt. I wish that rain would fall here soon.

having an el nino and at the same time is raining.... now that's not good.
