Hello lotters, First, regarding the "teeth" issue, i just found my teeth a few hours ago so the worst storm is over and am thankful to that lovely lady who cheered me up. well, back to my discussion, i had to do something else to ease my depression and madness when i lost my teeth(but found it later) i decided to do something I've wanted to do. that's to make a video to promote my chosen candidate, i did this today only. the clips weren't originally made but i had to put it all some good stuff together. you can watch here. please don't neg.rate it not a referral link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4rHoIS7kSo Or you can view in "Paid-to-youtube" site. i advertise it there. So, how do you promote your candidate * word of mouth * fliers, and leaflets * others. my vote goes to some one i feel confident at, WIN or LOOSE.at least not bought or wasted. Have a great day.

Hi Letran, A pity I can't view the video right away coz I'm myLotting from the office now (shhh, it's a secret) and youtube is disabled here, but I'm gonna make sure to see it when I get home tonight. Do you mind telling me who's in it? Can't wait hehehe. Anyways, I haven't decided whom to vote yet, but right now I'm leaning towards someone who is not as popular as the others (based on surveys) but I believe in his capability to lead the country, and he has no record of being corrupt. But I'm still open to those who are "winnable" candidates, but I have to check first if they have what it takes to bring big positive changes or just another candidate aimed at stripping the country of its wealth.

By winnable/winnability I mean the total package - education, ability, experience, popularity. But in our politics, you just have to be popular (yes, surveys do help), touch the heart of people (nag swimming ka na ba sa dagat ng basura...have your tried swimming in the sea of garbagesorry, I know it's terrible attempt to translate this now famous jingle of a presidential candidate) be able to project as if you're one of them (when in reality you're not), and you're good to go.

which jingle? Villars? this music was made by a band but never aired on TV. i just made a fan video of it. like gordon said, if people makes up their mind through surveys, just do the surveys forget election. we can't let 1000 to 2000 respondents in these surveys. dictate the mind of more than 90+ million Filipinos. i learned that lesson in 2004 when i vote for GMA. i think the filipino people should practice not depending on the surveys anymore as the MEdia religiously portray in their news...

hello doryvien, can you define your version of Winnable? is it through the popularity? surveys(not) or the way they give their ideas or present their answers in the presidential debates. well, dory just keep researching and digging information for the candidates. am also looking for other candidates as well.

I haven't done anything of the sort for my the politician I'm voting. It would have been nice if I was here 3 weeks ago because in that way I could have still seen a glimpse of the video before you had actually removed it. Anyway I'm usually open or vocal of the politician whom I'm likely to vote for. Just like you said promotion using the *word of mouth*

Well congratulations for finding your lost tooth! It would save you a lot than replacing it with a new one. One thing you need to be concerned right now is finding a good dentist to put it back to your gums now. Well with regards to the candidate I am rooting for, well I have not firmly put my full trust and confidence with him, I am considering myself open and still trying to know them more yet. I think if you are really firm and convince that your candidate should be in that position then you are right by doing this now. I guess your candidate would be very happy to know that you are doing something for him to get more supporters.

Hello rsa, yeah, it's a big relief, i guess it was a big big test for me. but if i didn't lose my tooth i wouldn't have guts to make this video even though i have been thinking about it for quite some time. that's good think just keep thinking and scrutinizing the canididates and keep watching the debates and search for their platforms and check the issues and scandals involving them..

Oh..it was a nice shot of campaign that you have prepared for your favorite candidate. The background music was very lively and looks like your candidate is a charismatic leader. Are you known to him personally or you are just one of his strong grassroot supporter? Internet campaign is a powerful tool to get the message across fast. Our present government who has been in power for 50 years was nearly booted out of power by the opposition. The opposition was using the internet heavily in their campaign and was very effective as never in the history of the ruling party to lose so many seats to the opposition. The most effective way is to create a blog and update it everyday to highlight various propaganda. Those fence sitters will be slowly influenced and when the day come they will know who to vote without second thoughts.

Ahhhh. I know what you mean by saying that your vote goes to someone that you really feel confident in, whether you think they would actually win or lose.. Though you know, I've talked to a lot of people about the coming elections, and they have said that they want to vote for the same one as you do, the only thing keeping them from it is the surveys and the thought that they wouldn't win even if they vote for them.. Which is actually really sad, because at this point, I think the "transformers" really have a big chance of winning. Anyway, I don't really promote my candidate, cause until now I still don't have one. Hehehe. I know whom I'm voting for as VP, but I'm still unsure about the president... The one thing that I say to people that I talk to is just vote for who you believe in whether you think they will win or not.

That's true, sometimes it's even less than 1000 people.. It's really sad, that whenever they show the survey results, it's as if they are really showing what the nation's take on the upcoming elections...

Hello Ingking, Did you like the video? because this time i know where my precious vote would stand. they want to vote for the same one as you do, the only thing keeping them from it is the surveys and the thought that they wouldn't win even if they vote for them That's really pathetic, but you know the worst part, this isn't teh first tiem i've heard such statements. i heard it personally, from my MOM,saw her even wrote a praise letter to Villiar website. I told her not to mind set her in the surveys since it's only been conducted to some one thousand people or more. we can't let 1000 to 2000 respondents DICTATE the mindset of the entire Pinoy population! vote wisely derders

I don't promote my chosen candidate. Infact I am not going to vote (for now. Mayba next time) because I don't know the background of any of them. I don't trust their television commercials either because they only tell or show us their good sides (BUT OFCOURSE). I think that if I really like and know what the candidate has done to my country maybe that is the time that i'd promote them. Maybe through fliers or like what you did, through a video. I also think that this kind of promotion to the candidate is realllllllyyyy working just like a presidentiable who overtook the top candidate in the surveys because he had sooo many commercials and not just commercials, "cool" commercials that gave almost everyone a "LSS". He also had commercials that include actors campaigning for him. Bottomline if I know my candidate i'll promote him because it really helps. Letran I'm sure that your effort for doing that vid will help. Hopefully you chose the right guy. Hopefully our country will be better. =)
