Praise God! God is always at work. Jermaine Sellers just stood up to the judges on American Idol saying that he knows God. I don't have the exact quotations, but it is really inspiring to see someone on a worldly show publicly announce their faith. He showed tremendous faith by saying something to the effect that he will be in the competition next week because of his faith in God! Anyone see it or have comments? He's got my vote!

I haven't seen it yet I am on the west coast and it hasn't aired yet. I won't be able to have a comment until tomorrow. I can't even remember who Jermaine Sellers is. Did he give a bad performance? I have faith in God as well but things don't always go right for me. Having faith is wonderful but what about the others. They may have the same faith. If he gave a good performance he will be here next week. That's about all I can say now until I see the show.

Nope he didn't really give a bad performance. The judges were just wanting him to change it up more. I was simply making the comment that it was wonderful and inspiring to see someone announce their beliefs on a show like that. If more people said what he said, it could really make a difference in the world :)

I saw his performance and I believe the judges were right. I also agree with you and admire him showing his faith. It is wonderful to see that especially when schools and a lot of public places want to keep God out as much they can. I think the some of the other guys were better. Not sure if he will go home but I won't be surprised to see him in or near the bottom. Tim Urban has got to go. He should have went last week. Still not sold on anyone yet.

While I am a Christian, I thought some of Jermaine's comments were a little over the top. Unfortuntely, I couldn't hear everything he said, but, even though I'm a Christian, it was a little too much for me. It was like he was talking back at the judges, rather than trying to listen to the judges' constructive criticism. As we know now, Jermaine didn't make it.... Maybe other people felt the same way I did. God blessed Jeramaine with a great voice; hopefully, he'll get to use it elsewhere.

I just heard what Jermaine said and it was nice to see someone that young speak about his God and faith. I loved it and it was so inspiring to hear it. I will be voting for him because I do think he can sing.
